AC Electricity Powered

  • RK1200T Gate Opener is ONLY powered by 110-120VAC electricity.
  • The power supply cord is included.
  • The specification of the power supply cord is 3 × 0.75mm2. Connect the live wire and neutral wire to the “L” (1#) and “N” (3#) terminal respectively, and connect the earth wire to (2#) terminal.
  • TOPENS DKC500S, DKC1100S, DK/DKC series solar sliding gate openers are recommended if you want to power the gate by batteries and solar system.

NOTE: The tiny CR2025 3V button cell batteries that come with the package are ONLY for the remote control.

    My old sliding gate Italian motor ($2k!) lasted less than 10 years, not because of the motor but because the circuit board components gave up and it was not possible to get a replacement for it. A new similar motor from the gate installer would cost almost $3k now with installation and so I instead looked at the good reviews for this gate opener from Topens. It was much more economical, easy to install with good directions and arrived quickly. I had an issue with the gate not reversing properly but a quick email to customer support and by the next day everything was working properly. It is stronger than my previous motor and so far working great. I am very happy and I saved a lot of money by installing this myself. The included nylon reinforced rack was handy too as I replaced a few worn sections of my old rack with it and everything is working great. The most important thing to me was good customer service, and they provided it. I am satisfied with my purchase!

    After needing to replace an old gate motor I decided to install the Topens RK1200T gate motor which I found to be of good quality and price. It was exactly what I needed for our heavy front sliding gate. After installing the motor, it worked with a switch in the house, but I could not program any of the 6 remote controls we needed. I contacted Tech Support via their email support system and they promptly got back to me within less than 24 hours asking that I do a series of tests and send photos and a video which I quickly completed and sent to them. Again they got back to me over night and said that with my installation I needed to install the ERM 12 Universal External Receiver. They sent me the receiver at no additional cost. I asked no questions and accepted their advice. After installing this external receiver, the gate operates perfectly and all the remotes were easily programed and work well at 100+ feet. A very good product and excellent competent customer service support at very competitive prices. Replacement parts readily available. I highly recommend this product and company.

    We purchased the TOPENS RK1200 back in 2020 and though it took us awhile to install it, it's been a good little workhorse. We use this multiple times per day to get in and out of our home and continues working effortless and reliably. Our gate is rod iron and very heavy so it's been great knowing that this little gate opener has been able to open and close the gate effortlessly. We did have an issue with the motherboard and had to replace it but it was due to our dogs chewing up the push button wires thus causing a short. Which was not a product issue. I have yet to say anything bad about this little workhouse. It's reliable and affordable.

    I bought an RK1200T opener with 26 feet of nylon steel-reinforce gear rack.
    My opening is 24 feet and my gate is 40 feet cantilever gate.

    The opener and the accessories, and mounting hardware are made of high quality materials. Heidi, from the after-sale support team was professional and stayed on top of issues. I was reminded ahead of time what I shouldn't forget or overlook and I appreciate that. My issues was addressed quickly after my report and followed up through.

    I almost settled with a different brand of opener but found out they have some complaints about customer support and switched to this one. I am very happy that I made this decision.

    The opener, the gear rack are easy to install and the their operations are quiet. The remote control are in a far range although I didn't test the actual maximum range. I thought the provided rack mounting screws will not survive with my 1/8" mounting steel plates and bought a bunch of bolts and nuts from a local hardware store to mount the racks. I was wrong, they were a little slow but went through without any problems. None of the 48 provided screws were broken.

    With that said, I did have a couple of minors issues. The first one is my gate panel being not perfectly straight. There were 2 crews that touched the opener's gear cover when it rolls. I replaced these screws with 2 thinner head bolts from a local hardware store. This problem can also be solved by moving the opener a little further out from the gate panel. The second one was the mounting screws for the magnetic sensor. They are a little too long and touched the roller poll. I fixed the issue by trimming the screws 1/8"

    Si tú portón está pesado no lo compres por que se barren los engranes de plástico corrientes que trae. Tuve que gastar en otro igual pero de cadena Al parecer ese si funciona bien tengo 8 días con el de cadena y todo macha bien!
