This log splitter is equipped with a 7HP AlphaWorks 4-stroke OHV gas engine and a reliable 2-Stage Bucher Hydraulic Gear Pump, allowing it to split logs up to 20" in length and 16" in diameter in horizontal mode, and logs up to 24" in diameter in vertical mode. The lightweight horizontal half-beam design and sturdy steel wedge, combined with the 10" polyurethane tubeless wheels and ergonomic folding handle, make it easy to maneuver and transport from site to site. The AlphaWorks engine provides smooth and consistent power delivery, ensuring efficient performance, while the 12-second cycle time and consistent force make cutting through your wood pile a breeze. The gasoline-powered engine provides more consistent pounds of force per square inch compared to electric-powered models, making it more versatile for portable use without needing access to an electrical power source.
