I like this premium-grade organic soy wax; I'm impressed with the size of bag for the cost and it has the familiar smell that's expected with plain wax, with no added fragrance or scents, which makes it very versatile. The outer product bag holds the clear, resealable bag of soy wax and smaller clear bag with candle wicks and a reuseable metal wick holder; the wick holder keep wicks straight, which helps keep wax as smooth and as undisturbed as possible during the cooling/hardening process. I really appreciate when little details like that are included, it tells me that thought went into the presentation process for the customer. It's flawless to work with, and a great choice whether I decide to leave it plain or get creative. I'm very satisfied and recommend!

This Smiandi soy candle wax has been great to use! It really does burn cleanly on its own, and doesn't have much of a scent on its own . I've added a lemon scent, and pleased with the result. The white colour is pretty on its own - I imagine it should be easy to colour as well, although I have not yet tried. As a newer candle maker, I appreciate the additional candle wick supplies to experiment with different molds/containers. The resealable double bag storage is convenient to store and pour wax from.

This Smiandi soy candle wax has been great to use! It really does burn cleanly on its own, and doesn't have much of a scent on its own . I've added a lemon scent, and pleased with the result. The white colour is pretty on its own - I imagine it should be easy to colour as well, although I have not yet tried. This Smiandi 2 lb. bag of natural soy wax is perfect for making your own candles. Easily accepts natural essential oils for scented and aromatic candle making.

We use only soy now because burning paraffin wax candles makes too much soot! Burning that wax ruined our dehumidifier, damaged our walls, and turned our furnace filter black. I don’t think it’s very healthy either…especially if you burn a lot of them. This soy wax does not do that what-so-ever! It burns very clean and can be blended with a variety of essential oils to make really nice and creative scents. You can use food colouring to produce different colours as well - but we like keeping our candles white and not coloured.

We simply use small metal pails from the buck store (or �鶹�� has them too) and regular wick. We add our essential oils, bake at 300 for 20 minutes, and use tinfoil to set the wick! Works perfect every time! The little metal pails won’t crack and are totally reusable, which we like! This Smiandi brand is a good product…clean burning and non-toxic! Comes with wicks and hangers too but were a little short for our pails. The included wicks could be used with shorter glass jars (baby food jars) or decorative candle vases. Very happy!

As a beginner candle maker, this 2lb bag of organic soy wax was perfect. It melts really easily and is simple to work with, even if you’re just starting out. The quality of the wax is great, but it’s important to follow proper instructions when melting and adding scents—if you skip steps or add fragrance at the wrong temp, the candles won’t turn out right.

I also found that using a small heat gun to smooth out the tops after the wax settled made a big difference in the final look. Overall, a great starter wax that makes the process approachable and enjoyable. Therefore I definitely recommend this item.

Included wicks are 4.5 inches long (did not see this anywhere). I made a test candle using 2 ounces of flakes, melted in the microwave in 30 increments. Did not add scent. Was so happy with how it turned out. Would highly recommend.

This was my first time making candles and this soy wax was very easy to use. While there is not much instruction included, there is no lack of candlemaking advice and videos on the Internet. It melted and poured beautifully, and holds the scent well, both while cold and while burning. Wicks and a wick holder were included as well, which was a bonus I wasn’t expecting. I would get this again.
