Perfect for any level sewist, our bobbin winder saves you time so you can focus on creating awesome handmade pieces. Made to fill your bobbins with thread evenly, this kit features the winding machine, a power cord, and a manual for your reference, and has an automatic shut-off feature when used with batteries instead of the power cord. Product measures 5.5'' L x 4'' W x 2.9'' H and has 120 voltage. Fits most bobbins, but does not fit bobbins from Singer Centaur II, Husqvarna Viking, and some Brother machines.

Can't plug it and even with batteries sucks
Got this product and tried to use it but discovered that I cant plug it, the electrical is not attached and keep falling off and not aligned with the hole. Although i could use batteries, I want my item to be fully functional therefore I am returning it and asking a refund. Must be a defective item to be like that. Besides that, it is small, and plastic, seems durable to a certain degree. Not sure if worth 40$ though seems more like a dollarstore item to me. I have an older Singer and it takes #6 bobine. I put batteries to check it out and I was not impressed at all by its functioning, not very valuable at all. Either I got a lemon or it is just cheap item.

    I read the reviews and thought for the price I'm just going to try this little thing, I use cone spools and I made myself a cone thread holder from a metal clothes hanger and a block of wood (it doesn't look fancy, but does the job) I wrapped the thread around an empty bobbin, pulled the spindle up and put the bobbin on, then threaded the little loop, wrapped the thread around the tension knob and then to my bobbin that is to be filled.
    I filled 3 bobbins and it worked for me. Just a couple side notes about the little thing...

    - The on button is just that, if you need to shut it off flip the little tab that rests against the filling bobbin.
    - They should have put the power hole on the side rather than the back, without it plugged in, the handle rests perfectly as a foot, with it plugged in the lid rests on the plug, making it tilt out of balance, for this I took away a star.
    It's very easy to use so seriously if you can't figure it out, you really should stay away from a sewing machine.
    That said I like it just fine was worth my money.

    So i have this for just about 3 years and I am lucky if I used it monthly. The machine has been difficult asi could not get the thread to wind tightly. It just seemed to be a hassle switching it from bobbin to bobbin till it's tight and even. We'll now the tension part has completely brocken and I cannot use it at all. And went to re order a new one and came across the amount on this 1 at 155 +$ when i originally paid 20 I will just use the one on my sewing machine now. I do not recommend this product from this seller....

    I got this because I was tired of having to re-thread my sewing machine just to fill a bobbin. What a treat that it fills the bobbin SO FAST!!! On the machine, I'd start the winding and then do something else while it finished. With this, I don't even have time to pick up something else - its already done! It winds with good tension and reasonably evenly (more evenly than my machine!) - no issues so far. It looks/feels a little on the cheesy side, with what seems like flimsy plastic pieces, but wow! - those pieces work fast! And really, we're just talking about winding thread, for goodness sake - it doesn't need to be super strong, just super functional. And it certainly is that!
    I use the AC adaptor, and just keep it plugged in. It's a neat little case that closes right up - so it doesn't even get dusty. Definitely a good purchase!
