A lightweight 2-in-1 Lift-Away® upright vacuum with a detachable pod for portable cleaning power. With the push of a button, lift away the pod to easily clean in hard-to-reach areas. This vacuum is also equipped with Swivel Steering for increased maneuverability and it has a completely sealed system with HEPA to trap dust and allergens. (Based on ASTM F1977 of particles .3 microns or larger.)

It works great on all types of carpet. Deep pile shag. Tight woven carpet and bare floors. Picks up larger debris without clogging and picks up dust just as well. Highly recommend this product . This is my second. The first lasted over 6 years of heavy traffic daily use . Also the filters are inexpensive to replace . It truly contains dust and air stays clean . It works as well if not better than my Dyson ball. The Dyson does not work at all on thick pile shag like the navigator does. Hard floors and compacted pile carpets id say it works equivilant to Dyson. Love this machine

    For the last decade we have used an expensive cordless vacuum. Very convenient, not that powerful. The Shark is not as convenient because of the cord. It is much more powerful than the cordless machine. It picks up a lot of dust and dirt when we use it. Its dust cup does not hold that much so it needs to emptied frequently. It has settings for bare floor and carpet. It can be used with or without the floor attachment. Its filter system uses three types of filters. Shark filters do not seem available in Canada but well fitting copies are easy to find. It is not pricey and it picks up lots of dirt. Maybe someday I will buy another expensive machine but not right now.

    I just bought this vacuum a couple months ago. No complaints. Everything fits well and is easy to switch from upright to whatever handheld pod situation. Empties great, I wash it all the time because, it's easy open and accessible. My last vacuum had a musty smell because you couldn't clean everything. Love it. Sucks better than a Dyson imo. I prefer corded because the suction is usually strong AF. I have a longhair black cat, a 10yr old and husband is in trade so dirty boy comes home every night, this vacuum handles all that in perfection. Price was phenomenal as well. Obviously. ALSO, my last shark vacuum lasted 10yrs and was still going, the handle broke off before the vacuum did.

    I’m so impressed with the suction of this vacuum and the large dust cup. It picked up so much hair and dirt that my old Bissell didn’t.
    I have one cat and my place feels so much cleaner now. The large size dust cup was full after just one vacuum of my apartment!!

    After reading reviews I was worried about it being too heavy (and it’s not the lightest) but I am older with arthritis and I just wheel it around no problem . Note: I have no stairs. I would NOT buy this if I did.

    The lift away portion only reaches cobwebs on the ceiling with the wand attached and it’s awkward and heavy reaching up high if you have arthritis. I had to take frequent breaks. Nonetheless, the hose suction for the lift away is also excellent.

    Cat hairs up high (cat tree, top of couch) with the hose were tricky due to awkward angle and no brush attachment. I just took a scrub brush along with me to loosen up the hairs. (Not necessary on floor/carpet due to excellent brush. Does a fabulous job of getting hair from carpet.) If you have arthritis though, cleaning up high will be trickier. And hard on the wrist. The handle and wand create extra weight and hurt my wrist. I wish the handle wasn’t there and it was just the wand/hose.

    It doesn’t have an automatic cord rewind but the vacuum is so awesome I don’t care.

    Like others who have written reviews, I wish it had a round brush head for the hose (powered, rotating brush would be the cat’s meow!) 😁Very easy to empty with dust cup opening easily at both top and bottom.

    I gave this vacuum four out of five stars only because of the need for a brush attachment (with easier angle) for the hose, and because it’s heavy to use up high with the wand. (Would probably only matter to people with arthritis.) Otherwise it’s five stars all the way!
