  Bought as reviews agreed this vacuum was great on their shag carpet. Arrived today and excited to try it. Disappointed that the roller brush will start on the floor and then work on the carpet but only for a minute and then shut off and red light comes on. I have to shut off and restart on bare floor, switch to carpet and run along carpet edge before moving directly onto the carpet. Will only rotate for a minute & shut off. Have on the air exchange mode for carpets but does not make enough difference to keep the brush rolling to finish the job. Disappointed as I love everything else about this vacuum with the lift off for stairs, etc, is manueverable and light weight.
