Bought this corded Shark vacuum to replace my 4 year old cordless Dyson V11 stick vacuum. So far after 2 months I can say I absolutely love this vacuum. I will never buy a cordless vacuum again given how much more power I get over my Dyson cordless one. It has even more power than my Dyson did on it’s highest setting which Dyson did not recommend as it would effect the life of the battery not to mention there was no way I could have done my entire 2 storey house on Dyson's high setting on a fully charged battery.
I like that the power head on my new Shark vacuum can do both carpet and hard floor with one head not two separate ones like my Dyson did. The fins on the power head as opposed to traditional brush truly does not get hair wrapped around it to removed later. I also love that I can now store my vacuum in my hall closet where it should be, not near a plug in, in plain view like my cordless one did. Ergonomics are great and very easy to change to the tools on the fly. The cord wraps up conveniently and is plenty long so I’m not constantly replugging as I move through the house.
Some users might find the dust reservoir too small requiring more emptying during vacuuming but I have no issue with this as it removes from unit easily and is easier to empty than a larger bulkier one would be. I tried this vacuum out just after a day of using my old Dyson and could not believe amount of dirt it sucked out of my carpet out of a recently vacuumed floor.
Time will tell but so far I would highly recommend this vacuum.
