    This did not fit my couch. The product is a clear vinyl panel that sits on the top or side of the couch. It does deter the cat because they don't have a nice place to scratch anymore. I did not care for the look or feel.

    Our cat has been an issue since we’ve had her. The fabric furniture in our home is getting ripped up at the corners. I wanted to try one of these covers.

    My kids took some scissors to cut off the threads sticking out of the furniture. Then we took the main cover and put it on the most prominent area where our cat likes to scratch. It’s a thick plastic and forms well around the arm of the couch. There are round sticky pads to put underneath to attach the cover where you want them. They hold well and keep the cover from moving.

    This arm cover also comes with four large stick-on plastic sheets. We decided to use them on other problem corners of our furniture. You can cut them to the size needed. They stuck to the furniture fairly well.

    I can’t say how long this set of protectors will last, but I like that I’ve finally outsmarted this cat, who seems bent on driving me insane. This is a solid product worth the money to protect furniture from premature wear.

    I will edit this review if there are issues in the long term.

    I am very impressed with the quality of this cat scratch furniture protector compared to other products that I've tried. You receive a corner piece along with four square sheets. I've used the double sided tape, foil, citrus scented cat repel spray but my cat laughs at those attempts and continues to destroy my furniture. I've ordered a new custom couch and wanted to ensure that I had an effective deterrent prior to receiving it. This protector is high quality thick plastic with excellent stitching so not only will it protect but won't take away from the design of the fabric. There are clear, easy to follow instructions and a pleasant surprise of a box of fabric pins should decide to use them for added stability but also the cutest little cat paw socks for chairs. The chair socks will be adorable on my occassional chair. When my new couch arrives, I have the confidence that it will be safe from scratches.

I’m not thrilled that I couldn’t change the behavior but this clear protector is a great option while we work through it. It’s easy to put on and doesn’t damage your furniture. I was not expecting the additional sticky pads or the cute cat paw chair leg protectors. Great surprise. The protector is easy to remove if you have company coming over. We moved the car tree near the couch so he can scratch that instead and the protector has completely stopped the scratching on the couch. Way better than trying to line the couch with aluminum foil although it does remind me a little of my grandmothers house from the 80’s. I don’t care because it works and is saving my expensive couch- highly recommend.
