- Reviewed in Canada on November 12, 2024Verified PurchaseGreat product. Its a CONCENTRATE so if you read some other reviews people complain claiming theres no peel back label for mixing instructions, except,…. there is and i provided photos.
Another claim is it’s too little volume for the price or too expensive for what you get. Allow me to help with the reality.
1 bottle of premixed in the 1 liter size is 11.99 a bottle. It’s 1 liter mixed.
This product is 500 ml concentrate, so a half liter of concentrate and its 15.59 as of writing this review.
The concentrate label says 20 ml product for 1 liter of water. That’s 25 liters of spray mixed up.
So 11.99 premixed liter bottle, multiplied by 25 liters is $299.75. Thats a lot of money.
If you subtract the 15.50 (price of concentrate) from that you have a savings of $283.76 before taxes ( by the way these are before taxe numbers.)
So,…… i think theres a LOT of volume for the money.
Mixing instructions on the label say 10 ml to 500ml water. That means 20 ml for a full liter.
1 TEAspoon measuring spoon is 5ml. 1 TABLEspoon measuring spoon is 15 ml. So to mix 1 liter of spray you can either use 4 teaspoon fulls or 1 teaspoon and 1 tablespoon per 1 liter batch. Hope that helps people see the amount needed. This also means you’re not having to trash 25 empty plastic spray bottles. So very affordable and incredibly awesome for the environment. YAY.
Also it’s labeled as organic. It also says on the label it’s a blend of 4 types of soap. It however doesn't say what the ingredients of the soaps used, i assume because its an insect spray combined with being soap not poisons that maybe thats why they aren't mandated to have that info on the label, which kinda sucks actually. Being here in canada we are spoiled for normally having that info on everything.
A great way to get volume for a lot of plants.
So far have used on my Meyers lemon tree which apparently came with soft brown scales. I couldn’t get them to die with other products. Also they make a “honeydew” substance that coats everything and attracts ants so gross. This stuff has killed them and cleaned the sticky gross ick off all the leaves and such.
Also used on my orchids, had a very bad white mealy bug infestation and again sticky ick (bug poop i think) and they were killing orchids. Other product they kept coming back. This stuff is getting rid of them again.
And now using on tomato, peppers and eggplant plants that i brought inside to overwinter. The eggplant apparently came with little red things, spider mites maybe? It’s working there too! It’s getting them.
I wanted volume to soak each plant the dripping, so glad I found this. This concentrate for the huge volume it can make and i have purchased a bigger electric sprayer (4 liter) I believe with a spray wand to make it easier to get under the leaves on the veggies.
I am using my shower enclosure as the quarantine spray zone to keep the cats away and all drippings just go down the drain. No worries for my septics system at all. Absolutely fantastic.
Thanks.

- Reviewed in Canada on May 9, 2021Verified PurchaseThis is a great product. I was hesitant to buy it at first because the bottle is so small. But it packs a punch. Its highly concentrated so you can mix waaay more from this small bottle then what you would buy as a pre made spray. Also if you go through the bad reviews and see people talking about needing ultra protective gear, i wear a mask and some shades and gloves, normal clothes. At worst this stuff might irritate or cause a allergic reaction due to the concentration. But if i dump a bunch of soap on your arm and tell you not to wash it off, before long your probably gonna get kinda itchy, its just concentrate soap and oils, nothing special. Other then breathing it or getting in eyes, you will be fine. As for the reviews about it killing their plants, some plants are more sensitive to sprays then others, you need to use your best judgment and understand the instructions is a recommendation and not a one size fits all. If you get some damage, lower concentration. I do wish the bottle came with a small syringe or something though, but they are cheap. All in all i don't trust much as far as pesticides go for any of my plants, but this is one of very few i use. Mix with some diatomaceous earth in a sprayer and your really gonna nuke population. Although not sure why people would care about the smell, but not the best smell lol...

- Reviewed in Canada on April 27, 2025Verified PurchaseShould have read the reviews.... did NOT realize this was a concentrate, and I've lost most of the leaves on most of my houseplant collection. On the bright side, I bet there's no more spider mites now...
And no. My bottle had no instructions nor a peel back label. I just checked again.

I mixed this Safer insect killing soap with Neem Oil and water, and it completely eliminated the problem. I also like the fact that it is safer to use.
