Item is already used when I opened it. It smelled like coffee and when i opened the item to wash it as i needed to use it i saw coffee granules. Please see pictures attached.

    This coffee grinder is super quiet. We had a Cuisinart burr grinder that finally bit the dust and decided to try something different. We would take the old grinder outside or to the basement if anyone was still asleep in the house. This grinder on the other hand wouldn't be ab issue. No static on the grinds. Very precise adjustment on cups and grind type. Not long term use for us yet, but otherwise 5.5/5.

    The description is as advertised for size and utility. I would note that the grinder shoots the grounds into the cup with enough force to pack it into the rim of the lid. The opening of the ground container allows grounds to fall out easily and all over your counter. When you take the lid off, yup, grounds falling again. You definitely need something to get the grounds off the lid and container into your coffee appliance. You can't just bang the sides or lid to get the grounds off. The long story short, is that it can be annoyingly messy. I used the most coarse setting for my French press. I can't imagine how fine the grounds for Espresso would be. This isn't a negative review. Love the grinder. It does exactly what I bought it for. Just more of an FYI - you aren't grinding and dumping quickly.

    Previous grinders were Bodum and absolutely loved them. Thought I would try this unit as very compact. Had it for over a month and wish I could return it. I shoots coffee grinds during grinding, and is a huge pain as have to clean the counter and bottom of machine every day I use it. I realize it was an inexpensive grinder, but would not recommend it.

    I recently purchased the Shardor burr coffee grinder (the 59.99 one) and I have to say WOW!!!! I got an espresso machine for christmas and I thought it was time to find a good burr grinder so I can grind any sort of coffee for americanos or lattes. I was apprehensive at first because 59.99 seems way too cheap for a decent espresso grinder, but all of my worries and fears were put to rest when I did my first grind for my first americano! I put the dial on the second smallest dot under Espresso and pressed the power button and boom, ground coffee! It's no louder then any other grinder, it is slightly staticy but I can deal with that for $60. AND it ground it perfectly! I was so excited when I went to pour my shots and they came through with absolutely no trouble! And the shot poured perfectly proportioned, beautiful crema on top! Highly highly recommend this grinder!!! I'm very excited to continue to use it and drink a lot of coffee!!!
