Product description

The Red Lion SCV114 ABS vertical inline check valve is designed for use with sump pumps. This check valve includes two reversible adapters and can fit both 1-1/4-inch or 1-1/2-inch PVC or ABS pipe. This unit comes preassembled for use with 1-1/4-inch pipe. To use the check valve for 1-1/2-inch pipe, loosen the stainless steel fasteners and pull off both adapters and reinstall so widest opening of each adapter points outward. The flapper opens 100% and the flapper seat design reduces water hammer and debris build-up. The flow direction is etched into the product so it will not fall during use. This check valve must be installed vertically.
