Please note the Raypak model 156 is not designed to meet the emissions regulations in areas requiring Low NOx levels. We purchased our Ray Pak inground pool heater in the spring of 2021. It worked like a charm but started causing problems and completely stopped working under 100 days from install. We got in touch with our installer and he forwarded our warranty claim to the company. They refused to honour our warranty, saying her water may not have been in proper balance. They also let him know that we were over our 90 day warranty. Please don’t be fooled; the warranty is only for 90 days on these as they do not honour anything for internal parts after this time. It took us over six months and we still did not get a warranty claim. Our pool company had to buy a new heat exchanger and install it for us. We are extremely disappointed with this purchase and would not recommend Raypak to anyone. The company also did not return any number of emails from us as consumers. Please beware this company.

    Heated our 18foot above ground pool great all summer. Maybe a little to big lol as we barely had to turn it on to heat the pool up fast. Probably could have made the pool into a hot tube.

    We needed to replace the roll out switch after 2 months. Then it ran again for another 4 weeks and failed. Water coming out everywhere from unit. Do not buy. You will never hear from the company.

    In August 2021 thay sent repair tek out to look at the problem. Made 4 phone calls to the company it's now December pool heater still not fixed under warranty. Raypak is just dragging there feet right now I feel that thay will not fix pool heater under warranty. I payed 1.600$ plus tax for the use of 3 month. I'll keep sending updates of stades.
