Do I need to use the tether?

Yes, since the FR500 adds 101g to your setup, it’s best to fasten your bike computer with the included tether in case of unexpected bumps or vibrations.
How do I activate the Auto On/Off mode?

When the light is off, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the light flashes rapidly, then release. In this mode, the light will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of no movement and turn back on when vibration is detected.
