- Reviewed in Canada on December 4, 2024Verified PurchaseLong lasting light with 5 or so modes.
Can be fit into the handlebar or in the garmin mount (needs an additional attachment part)
The remote switch looks good (never got a chance to use it outdoors), that makes life easy
Good thing is this can be used while plugged in.

- Reviewed in Canada on November 14, 2023Verified PurchaseGreat little light with a lot of light output
- Reviewed in Canada on July 24, 2023Verified PurchaseI was lucky enough to catch this light on sale, and the first one was so good that I ended up buying three of them. They are hugely better than the light that came with my excellent bicycle. I opted for this less powerful version of the Ravemen light because it had a flexible rubber clip for the handlebars instead of a fixed-size screw mount. My handlebar pipes are tapered, so I didn't know if the fixed-size mount would work. And the tapered base and quick-release works well. The only problem I had was how to get my rubber strap to look like the one in the pictures. But I figured it out. Connect it the obvious way and then stretch and pull down the free end to hook the very next hole. I recommend this to everyone who needs a light.

- Reviewed in Canada on November 7, 2023Verified PurchaseBought this last month and tried it about 4 times riding to work at 5am. I turned it on to its highest level to see how bright it is. It was bright to start and then after a few minutes, it began to loose its brightness like going 1 or 2 levels down. Also, the charge did not last an hour when I rode on high. It died during my ride. Not as advertised. I do not recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely bright, multiple light modes, remote, (very nice) bike light.
The media could not be loaded.
The T shape is fairly pronounced and allows you to see your path and surroundings very well but also helps prevent blinding everyone else. The light output is fantastic and allows you to easily see a fair distance down the road or trail and also offers multiple light output options as well.
To turn on or off the light you press and hold the button, once the light is on you can quickly click the button on the light itself to cycle the modes and it will remember the last setting when powered off / on. That being said I'll start with the brightest; high is super bright, mid is very bright and saves a little battery, low is perfect for brighter areas (like in town), eco is just enough to see and offers the best steady on battery life, pulse is good for being seen utilizing constant eco brightness with a full power flash, and rapid is just a on off strobe light that is very helpful in an emergency offering the longest battery life.
The included remote button, this is a fantastic idea but could use a couple upgrades. First the cord is very short, limiting it to a direct handlebar mount (wireless would be much better). Second this should but doesn't allow you to turn off or on the light, it ONLY changes the modes after the light has been turned on via the button on the back of the light itself. This was a little disappointing for me personally as I had wanted to mount the light further down but have on / off ability via the remote. Fortunately the button on the back of the flashlight itself illuminates (when on) with a mild yet easy to see green light allowing you to find it in complete darkness (the remote button doesn't).
The light itself is almost completely made of aluminum making it very tough, moreover all ports or potential points are sealed or covered allowing this to handle all sorts of weather conditions including rain. This can also easily be utilized as a handheld flashlight, as this slides in and out of the included handlebar mounting bracket by depressing the lever / button / idk what to call it clip to release the light.
On the back of the light just below the button there is a USB-B port under the rubber flap for charging or the remote, this does except pass through charging (you can charge it as you use it). This is very handy as you can utilize most power banks and never run out of light, just don't forget a cord.
In conclusion, if you ride a bike and want to see very well at night you should definitely get this very bright and well made light. It's definitely worth the cost. Now as I mentioned above the remote could use a couple upgrades in my opinion, however I feel that the other aforementioned aspects make up for this.
I really appreciate you taking the time to read all of that, moreover I hope this illuminates any questions you might have had. I also truly hope you currently and continue to have an amazing day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very bright!! LIght weight, can be used as a flashlight as well!
I have to say I am impressed wit the brightness of this light!!! It comes with a mount that allows you to add/remove the light easily from the bike. Mounting was easy! Packaging was painful to remove the light from the cardboard insert. I needed a small screwdriver to remove the mount from the strap to get the cardboard off!
The light has 4 brightness levels, 1 stobe with dim light and 1 flash with dim light.
Pros:
- It comest with a remote swtich so you can turn the light on/off without taking your hands off the handlebars. Nice feature, but I chose not to use as the light is close to the handlebars on my hybrid.
- It can double up as a flashlight.
- Rechargable. I did not test for battery life yet.
- The power switch doubles as a light that indicates charge level.
- It has side marker lights, however, not as bright as I would have expected, still very nice. The side marker lights vary in brightness based on the head light brightness.
- I has a T light patten with is nice however, not that obvious. I read that the lense can be rotated though I was not able to do this.
- Most people, in my opinion, can use the dimmest light setting and still effectivly see. The highest brightness setting is not really needed unless for emergency lighting.
Cons
- While not really a con, the strobe and flash functions operate with the light on, however. dim. I wish the strobe would work without the light on, which would substanially improve visibility to others.
Overall a very good light that is very bright, rechargable, and can be used as a flashlight or a bike light. I recommend!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Heavy Light & Not 1000 Lumens But Bright Enough
Verified PurchaseThis is the heaviest accessory on my lightest 2 bikes. It's like 1.5 pounds at least. And having come off a L&M 800 Lumen headlight that was stolen off the bike parked at Lowes, this is just no way 1000. It's 800 if it's anything. The light operates very easily and has a dimmer switch that can be operated from on the bars. This should also turn it off and on but it doesn't. There are side dots of light but nothing bright enough that they will prevent cars hitting us. And am still not sure i care for the T pattern either b/c it seems not wide enough for lighting night commutes. Am a bit disappointed to be honest. Maybe battery life will astound me, but I would go for a L&M at this price, just need to be careful not to burn yourself since they are excessively hot. Sadly they have not had any new looks in 5 years. The light that was stolen was from 2018 and white and just lovely.
