Superspeed syncing and dynamic fast charging

atolla USB 3 hub expands USB connectivity to 4 external USB 3.0 ports, with SuperSpeed transfer rates up to 5Gbps (10x USB 2.0). Additional Charging Port recognizes and optimizes the charging power of your electronic devices for fast and efficient charging. With AC power adapter applied, it provides up to 2.4Amps, ideal for iPads, iPhones, and other devices.

Compatibility and Performance

Compatible with most Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X, Linux (kernels 3.0 and later), and Unix systems. This hub is USB 3.0 Splitter for keyboards, mouses, hard drives, PS 4, Xbox, printers, headphones, Oculus, satellite receivers, and you name it.

Charging dedicated port

The output is 2.4A

When synchronizing these USB 3.0 port data, it can be charged to 1.5A and is compliant with the BC1.2 standard.

At the same time, with the USB Smart Charge Controller (up to 2.4A), the USB SmartCharging port dynamically detects and adapts to the optimal charging mechanism for devices that require power (eg applications, tablets, etc.).

Equipped with four illuminated individual on-off switches to control each USB port, atolla USB 3.0 splitter hub saves the trouble of unplugging devices whenever you don’t need it. I purchased a 7 port hub two years ago and it has worked very well for me. I needed another hub so I purchased a second one. If you are using portable hard drives that don't have a separate power supply, the amount of power supplied to your hub is vital for proper operation of your drive. This hub as a 3A power supply and my 7 port hub has a 4A power supply. I use the 7 port hub to attach several portable hard drives to my home theatre PC. I use this smaller 4 port hub on my Fire stick to attach external storage (thumb drive). I first tried another hub with a lower rated power supply and the Fire stick kept losing the connection to the thumb drive. I bought this hub and there have been no problems. These hubs are great quality, work well and often go on sale. I recommend them to anyone who asks.

�鶹�� sure gives you odd things to rate at times. My 3 choices were camera quality, quality of material and light weight. Camera quality obviously doesn't apply and light weight is a bad thing in a hub. You want it to stay put and not have the weight of the cable pull it off your desk. The material quality is excellent so I rated that and removed the other two items.

This hub will save my pc motherboard and power supply from shorting and overload when working on Arduino circuits. Arduino uploads / downloads and runs correctly and provides peace of mind when working on LED strings that draw less than 1.5A max. Any circuit approaching that 1.5A I use a separate bench power supply. Individual port switches allow me to shut power off to Arduino and circuit while changing components. I wear a grounded wrist strap for extra precautions too.
