You can also plug in auxiliary devices eg iPod which works great too and it picks up the radio, so multi functional. I dropped a star as the quieter volumes are not as good as when it��s being blasted, but that being said it��s still fair. Good value for the money, quick delivery, very easy set up, make sure to read the directions before powering it as you do need to remove the protective paper inside the player. I would recommend this item.

This is definitely a nice little compact stand alone cd player. The speaker isn't the greatest but still does the job. I connect my cd player to a surround sound via an aux cable for better sound and the controls and remote are great and easy enough to use. My only real complaint is the clear plastic lid on the front that covers the cd doesn't open very far which makes putting a cd into it a little awkward.
