  the item is well built and the sound is quite good but the volume is very very low. I have used it with a headphone amp and it really makes it come alive. If you are looking for any kind of volume in your headphones, you won't get it from here. Still, it sounds very good with a headphone amp so if you don't mind the extra cords involved, you should be happy enough.
