Deet alternative insect repellent.
I have been using off with deet for years and it’s been very reliable and works well. It’s now time to switch and try non-deet off. In searching on picaridin it seems that concentrations of 10-20% is needed for effectiveness. Since this has 10%, it falls in that spectrum. It seems as though higher concentrations will work better and last longer, so this product is probably best used for shorter time requirements and on days when the activity is lower, much like a low concentration deet. This arrived after our biting season so I will be giving it a further trial in the spring. What I can say so far is that it goes on well and isn’t greasy or have any bad odour, nor does it irritate my skin at all.

    It has a nice smell that dissipates after a few minutes. The spray is large enough to cover a lot of skin so you don't have to spread it with your hands. But be careful when spraying near the face cause it does get in the air a bit so close your eyes. I used it mainly on my 1 year old and it worked really well to keep the mosquitoes away. Since it has no deet it's safe for babies and sensitive skin. No irritation.
    The bottle is not very big but I still got a lot of use out of it.
    Also, I did put it on clothes, shoes and hats and ot did not stain at all.
    I will probably repurchase since it's good value and works great.

    My family and I enjoy camping and hiking, and are always in need of insect repellant. I tried this as it was recommended by a friend, and I am so glad I did! It is very effective at keeping mosquitos and other bugs away, even at night at the baseball diamond during my son's games! Will be purchasing this bug spray again.

    -deet free
    -easy to apply
    -not too strong of a smell
    -great for sensitive skin. Did not cause redness or rashes on my son's skin
    -works!

    Cons:
    -small can, not as large as other OFF cans

    This products works great! However the smell when you first apply is VERY strong, but goes away within a few minutes. My friend who is allergic to deet was able to use this and caused no harm. I was able to use this for maybe 2-3 outdoor parties (I shared it with everyone) before it runs out.

    The description said that it was unscented and it isn't unscented it definitely has scent. Myself and family members have a lot of issues with scents and we were looking forward to use this product this summer but unfortunately it is scented. It smells like chemical perfume.
