For under$190 it is the best kitchen appliance I have bought. Simple to operate, but reading the instructions first makes a big difference. It had some safety features that lock out the machine if your don't do things right. Highly recommend

    I love my new ninja, it crushes ice and makes perfectly smooth smoothies. Easy to change out to processor. The only thing I didn't consider when buying is that it doesn't have a grater attachment, which I miss. Otherwise a good blender especially if you can get it on sale.

    I drink smoothies every day and previously owned an Oster blender and before that a Hamilton Beach blender. Both of those were a perfect size and worked well enough, but I thought I'd treat myself to something more powerful to save time. I like thick smoothies with ice and frozen fruit. This smoothie cup is quite small and doesn't allow for much room for the ice and frozen fruit. You definitely can't fill up to the Max line, since the blades dip below that. The other attachment is too big for one single smoothie. It's also quite noisy and has one of those lids that is easily misthreaded and screws on crookedly. So, in the end, I have to make a partial smoothie, then add to it, and spend time trying to screw the lid on straight. Not much of a time saver.
    I'm not much of a cook, but when I do make something I love to use cheese. My friends all told me I needed a food processor, because you can grate cheese with them. Well, I guess I didn't do my research well enough, because you can't with this one, and there isn't even a cheese grater attachment available to purchase. Overall, I'm really disappointed and wish I'd spent my money elsewhere.
