    i've been a huge nintendo fan for years and this is honestly such a revolutionary console.
    it's portable gaming with better-than-ever internet support, a huge online-friendly roster of games, eshop to download not only add-on software but entire games digitally, precise controls, sleek design that feels comfortable to hold, AND features not previously included on the original 3DS (built-in NFC amiibo support, c stick, Z shoulder buttons, better battery life, rearranged buttons for easier access to certain controls, micro SD card support, etc). truly the very best portable console on the market and i would highly recommend it for anyone considering getting a 3DS family system. it's a bit more expensive than the original 3DS XL, but the extra money is absolutely worth it for all of the improvements and added content.

    my system arrived on time and in perfect condition. i was a bit disappointed that the package doesnt come with a charger, but this shouldn't be much of a problem if you had previously owned a DSi or 3DS (the chargers are the same). you can also get generic chargers for these systems for around $15.

    as far as data transfer from previous consoles goes: because my first 3DS didn't have much data on it, transferring the data wirelessly from my old SD card to the micro SD card only took about a half hour, but i've heard that this can be tricker and more labor intensive for those with lots of data on the previous console (it may require unscrewing the back plate of the console to physically remove the micro SD card, plugging the card into a PC that has micro SD support, and dragging the files manually).

    overall, this is a 5-star system and i definitely recommend it to nintendo fans of all ages and experiences!

    A very mobile, adaptable console that has a lot of games on its platform already. Wasn't disappointed at all, and really loved the quality that you get from a 3DS. The XL screen is definitely worth the extra money, gave me a bigger picture even though it might be a bit bigger. I love the new 3DS just based on how it feels in my hands, and the extra features it comes with is neat too.

    I received my 3DS and I¡¯ve been pretty satisfied with it. The only thing is that the device came extremely out of date so I had to update the device quite a bit. I also had some problems with the internet but a quick google search managed to fix my problem. Also as an important note: THIS CONSOLE DOES NOT COME WITH A MICRO SD CARD. You will probably need to purchase one unless I just got unlucky. They¡¯re not too expensive but I was a bit annoyed.

    Overall the product received was clean, mint condition with no problems that couldn¡¯t be fixed.

    Pros:
    Very well built. High quality material. It doesn't feel cheap.
    The 3D is very nice and with the new eye tracking feature, it works all the time (99%).
    Good battery life.
    Cons:
    Not a lot of interesting games but a few very good one (Pokemon, Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart to name a few).
    The other stick is a joke, it works but absolutely no feedback and almost no games use it.

    Overall, good console, but I ended up returning it because I didn't have time to play with it. I prefer reading books on my kindle in the bus than playing on the 3DS. But that's just me.

    The "Super Stable 3D" works fantastically, I never have to force my eyes or head position in order to get it to work, and the XL screen size is easy and relaxing to look at. Glad to have skipped the original 3DS and its very finicky narrow 3D view.

    I rarely ever turn off the 3D or get any headaches. Though, I find that like with watching 3D movies, after awhile you stop noticing and paying attention to the 3D effect, unless something intentionally juts "out of the screen" to get your attention. That's a compliment to how seamlessly the "Super Stable 3D" augments the 3DS experience, but at the same time is a commentary to how superfluous 3D in general is to movies and games.

    Still, this is the best handheld I have ever used by Nintendo outside of the home/handheld hybrid console Switch.

    I've been holding back on buying a 3DS ever since it came out and I fancied it as a nice birthday present to myself, so I decided to pull the trigger.

    I had borrowed 3DSes a handful of times in the past from my more altruistic friends, but I'm very grateful to have splurged on the XL--It makes the vanilla 3DS seem borderline barbaric by comparison.

    I've seen reports of the AC Adapter being missing from this package, requiring a separate purchase. Though I disapprove of this omission not being more clearly advertised, it seems fortune favored me this day, as my package included one.

    Bottom line, if you're in the market for a 3DS, you'd do yourself a disservice by not going for the XL. It makes the 3DS experience really pop--In more ways than one.
