- Reviewed in Canada on January 12, 2016I bought this for my son birthday in the boxing day on amazon.ca at 189.99 $, at this price it a very good buy (the full retail price is to much, wait for a good deal). Everything you expect for a nintendo system is here: very good exclusive title and third party title, retro compatibility with all 'DS and 3ds' game (big library of game), excellent gameplay, good battery life (depending of your setting), responsive touchcreen, now very good 3d effect, good graphic (the vita is better on that department), easy to ugrade memory (micro sd card) and battery. This new 3ds is what should be the 3ds when console was laucnh couple a years ago. And now new game will be built for that new console so to me if your are a new customer who never bought a 3ds buy this one, for someone who already have the older system is maybe the time for a upgrade. My only criticism will be to not include a cable or a AC adapter to charge this thing, is not acceptable even if you already own the previous model (all ds and 3ds charger is compatible for the new 3ds and was include with the older model). At least give the option to buy a model with the charger and another model without. So 4 Star for a product close to the perfection, if we exlude the greed of nintendo for not including a charger this will be a 5 star.
