First of all this is a great mount bracket. I actually bought it twice to mount a couple cheap Samsung HW-C400 speakers to both my 47" LG in the living room and a smaller 32" Samsung in the bedroom. I ran into two very minor issues that were my own fault for not properly reviewing what I had bought.

1) Be wary of the sound bar you purchase. Does it have proper threaded mount holes for fixing to a bracket or just those slide over mount holes for wall mounting (shown in the picture). Both type will work but the pin & wingnut combination used to secure the pictured mount hole leaves something to be desired. It works fine, but feels a little flimsy. Again - not the brackets fault, watch what you are mounting.

2) Watch the VESA mount size on your TV, this bracket installs underneath the TV bracket. It kind of acts like a spacer washer between the TV and TV bracket. I had no issue mounting it the the 47" LG as it comes with 200mm x 200mm VESA mounts. However, the smaller 32" Samsung has 100mm x 100mm VESA mounts and I was unable to get the sound bar brackets that close together. (Partly due the the HW-C400 having these extra nubs on the rear) I ended up securing it with zip ties instead and it worked just fine. Just be wary when mounting to a smaller TV you may have to improvise.

I wouldn't say either of these are complaints, just a buyer beware warming.

I'm a little torn on how to rate this. When I got it and opened the box, I was very impressed. The quality is much better than I was expecting for what amounts to a fairly simple bracket. It's very nicely made.

I think the issues have to do with it being sort of universal but not quite right for my application, which I think would be fairly common. Reading other reviews, I get the impression that many people with many different sound bars have all had similar issues in their own unique ways.

Finally, there was a more serious and confusing issue I had to deal with. There was plenty of hardware included to meet most TV mounting needs but for some reason there were only two of the spacers I needed instead of 4. I'm wondering if they were actually meant for the sound bar mounting rather than the TV mounting, but they were the right size and I needed two more of them. I ended up finding my own washers to stack up to make it fit so all is well in the end. I'd be happier with two more of the shorter spacers from the kit though.

In the end, it got the job done and I'm happy I bought it. I've got some ideas on how to modify it to make it perfect for me, but as it is, I'm reasonably happy.

For my part, I bought the most basic sound bar that Samsung makes, which I expect a lot of people to do and for this to be a very common use case. As you can see in the picture, there are protrusions on the back of the sound bar that got in the way of the bracket so tightening it down causes the brackets to bend. I could loosen the wing nuts but then I wouldn't trust it to be solidly attached. Since I'm using an articulating mount that swings around, I wanted to make very sure it was solid.
