Awesome controller for use with both Xbox One and PC
I recently picked up an Xbox One and a two bay charger with battery packs, but my Xbox only came with one controller. I like to use An Xbox controller with my PC, but my Xbox 360 controller for Windows doesn't go on the charger. Time to upgrade! This is a great package to pick up, because the controller is dual function: you can use it with your Xbox One AND with your PC (not at the same time obviously). All you need to do is make sure it's paired with the correct device at the time, by pressing the pairing buttons on the controller and on your Xbox or the wireless receiver for your PC. It remembers the last paired device, so you only need to do this if you are changing devices. The controller itself is an Xbox One controller, and we all know they're good. The price is a bit steep, but I feel it's worth it.

    It just works! I've been seeking for a good PC gaming controller and this controller works right out of the box with recent release of Crystal Dynamic's Tomb Raider reboot game via Steam on my PC. Simply plug in the wireless dongle from the package at the back of your PC USB port and takes matter of seconds to recognize it and install the driver, then press the wireless dongle button to start searching/pair the wireless controller. While the wireless dongle is searching for the packaged wireless controller, simply press the silver X Guide Button on the controller to turn it on and press the small search/pair button next to the charge and play connector port at the top/back of the wireless controller and presto, its paired and you are ready to have some Tomb Raider gaming action in no time! Definitely worth the price of admission. Might get another Xbox 360 wireless controller for Windows later down the road as a back-up unit due to the scarcity of the official stand alone wireless dongle that is no longer in production by Microsoft, except available in this release only. Totally worth every penny spend! :)

    To note: If you want to turn off the controller, simply pop out the battery pack at the back of the controller and then it will reset and shut off it self, as well don't forget to unplug the dongle when not in use to expand & give longevity of the wireless dongle usage.

    I know it's subjective, but this controller is the best controller of the past generation. It's the reason that I've been playing my Xbox 360 for such a long time and not giving my PC any gaming love. I've had an epiphany though, and I'll share it with you.

    The controller has been the only reason that I've been playing the Xbox 360. (Note, that as a serious gamer, I've never bothered to play FPS's on a console.) I have a PC that can do what the console can do, plus some. More to that, on the PC, you can use Steam and get great deals on games, plus the new releases generally start off at least $10 cheaper than their console counterparts. Not only great deals, though, the games you get for PC can be played on PC (and often Mac or Linux - cross-platform game purchase!) indefinitely, whereas, if you want to play the games in the future on a console, then you have to tear out that old console to play it, assuming that it still functions (I've gone through 3 Xbox 360's and 2 Wii's).

    Now that I have this controller and it's working flawlessly on the PC, I'm getting the only part of the console experience that I actually wanted and I'm converting my friends, because this, PC people, is a serious no-brainer!

    This opened up whole new worlds for me and my PC gaming. The couch is a comfortable location now. Was using a beat up old 360 wired controller.

    Battery Life: I put >80 hours into the witcher 3 before needing to replace the batteries. That's quite excellent.

    Installation: Had a few issues pairing it because the device manager didn't give it the right drivers. If you have this issue you need to go into the device manager to human interface devices and change the microsoft input device to X360 controller. This is not word for word (just from memory) so if you have the issue just search on google with a few of those keywords and you'll find good instructions. Was fixed in 5 minutes. Other than that it was incredibly simple to install.

    Range: Have the computer in one room. Long HDMI to my TV in another room. Has no problems connecting in the other room for me to play

    Delay: I haven't noticed a large delay in commands to the games. It does exist, but it doesn't impact the gaming experience at all. same as on the 360 or XBONE.

    This was about $10 more than the wired version and the freedom it adds is more than worth the $10 extra.
