- comes with USB receiver, batteries and CD for installation
- easy setup* (sort of...see below)
- feels great, all buttons and sticks move super smooth
- works great when playing any game on Uplay/Steam
CONS:
- it took me a while to figure out how to pair the controller with the receiver..since the manual just says to "Press" the button on the receiver and it isn't too clear on what to do next. In order to connect it, you need to first plug in your receiver into your computer and wait for it to automatically install the drivers, then put in the batteries on the controller, then HOLD the button on the receiver until the light starts to blink, after this immediately HOLD the main xbox button on the controller until that light starts to blink. Then wait for the light on both the receiver and controller to stop blinking, and you're connected.
- could be a bit cheaper...$50 is a bit much to pay for the old 360 controller when the Xbox One controllers are about the same price
- would be cool if this also came in white instead of black, but that's just my preference
OVERALL:
- the installation instructions could have been clearer, and this could have been cheaper (even $40 would have been ok) but in the end it works great and feels really smooth. Thanks to 鶹 for a great delivery time under 48 hours! (I'm with 鶹 Prime).
