    Despite being the proper matching part number, the actual cable on this replacement part was too long versus the original. I had to make some alterations to get it to fit and engage the mower deck. Despite that effort, within about 15 minutes of usage, the cable broke at the other end where the cable attaches to the spring. Very disappointing.

    Was a great price and it seemed like a good deal. Shipped quickly. First, no instructions were included in the bag. I am not a professional and needed help. Next, I watched a YouTube video on how to install. The guy on the video said to make sure to compare lengths which I did. The old and new cable were the same length. What I did not check was the length from where the cable attaches to the arm. It was shorter so I could not reconnect the bolt to the arm. I had to make adjustments to the cable holder to make the product work

    I am normally leery about using third-party components, preferring to use manufacturer supplied parts whenever possible. When the blade cable on my Craftsman lawn tractor broke, I went to Sears Parts Direct to order a replacement. Unfortunately, they were forecasting two weeks to deliver, and my lawn can't wait that long. This MOTOALL cable was the only one I could find that would deliver in two days. It looks identical to the original cable, installed without a hitch, and works perfectly. I can't yet attest as to how long it will last, but if you need an immediate replacement, this one will get the job done, at half the price of the Sears version.
