    This album was originally released on Dream Theater's official bootleg label [which has since been dropped] and "remastered" for this series. It includes the entire first album done live.
    While the original album was with vocals Charlie Dominici, Dominici joins the live show and does vocals only on the 2 extra tracks from around that era.
    Also joining was Derek Sherinian who did keyboard on the track Metropolis - Part 1 which appeared on the second album Images & Words.

    Der Mix des ersten Dream-Theater-Albums ist nicht unumstritten. Hier hat man die Möglichkeit das erste Album in sehr guter Sound-Qualität zu bekommen, mit einem James LaBrie, der sehr gut bei Stimme ist. Das Publikum ist dezent im Hintergrund hörbar, Ansagen oder Interaktion mit
    dem Publikum gibt es keine, so wirkt es fast wie eine Studioaufnahme. Das ändert sich erst bei der genialen Version von Metropolis Pt.1 am Schluß, mit Charlie Dominici und Derek Sherinian als Gästen. Als zweites Add-on gibt es noch "To Live Forever", das auch aus der Zeit des ersten Albums stammt, aber auf keines der Studioalben aufgenommen wurde.
    CD und DVD hatte ich vor Jahren beim Fanclub in den USA bestellt. Super, dass es das Album jetzt auch als LP gibt und die DVD muss ich endlich mal anschauen.
