Excellent little heat gun for shrink wrap or other craft projects. Heats in seconds and will shut off if it over heats. Once it cooled down it restarted no problem. Good for on and off uses. I use it for sealing my products in shrink wrap.

    I'm using this heat gun to emboss paper and it is working out great for me. The cord, however, is just a little bit too short for my liking. (I'm using a power bar on the floor near the back of my desk, and I can barely reach to place the heat gun on the front edge of my desk.)

    The heat gun is essentially just a small cylinder with an on/off switch and a little stand. It does come with a concentrater nozzle, but I've not needed to use that. The gun pushes out a ton of heat while producing very little wind, so it doesn't disturb the embossing powder.

    The gun produces the full heat (about 200F) almost immediately. It also cools off quickly, but be sure to use the stand to keep you work space protected.

    Le câble est de bonne dimension, mais ceux qui dise qu'il est court, je tient a rappeler que d'habitude, ont utilise ça sur un établit, et qu'un bon établit est constitué de prise de courant à proximité. Alors c'est sur que si vous travaillez sur votre table de cuisine, tout appareil électrique aura un câble trop court. Il est de la même longueur que mes câbles pour mes fer à souder et autres.

    its a good product gets to a good temp, the only issue is there's no settings so you cant adjust the temp or how hard it blows, if you are going to buy this for resin I suggest a torch not a heat gun with no settings, it blows pretty hard so your resin goes everywhere but if you hold it back so it doesn't blow hard its not hot enough to pop bubbles so just something to think about.

    I'm a newbie to resin art, and got this with the intent for popping the bubbles. Unfortunately it blows a lot of air and pushed around the colours a lot and almost ruins the project. It's good if you WANT to push around the resin while popping bubbles at the same time, but for my intended purpose it did not work well.
