I had to repair my chain-link fence and do a few mesh-related projects, and this kit really came in clutch.
The tool itself is great — the grips are very comfortable and don’t feel cheap at all. I was worried the hog rings might fall off during use, but the tool holds them securely, and there's no risk of them slipping out. It’s also very easy to use.
The kit came with three different sizes of rings. I used the smallest for 1mm mesh and the medium size for standard chain-link mesh. While mine included hundreds of rings, be prepared to order extras if you have a large project in mind.
I also really appreciate the included storage case — I like keeping my tools and their supplies organized in one place. Very handy.
Overall, I’m really happy with this tool. It’s a must-have if you work with mesh or chain fences.
