I bought this to replace a previous portable CD player that I attach to a speaker to listen to low volume music while going to sleep.

This machine is intermittently (but frequently) very noisy, much noisier than my old player. In fact, at times it is hard to hear the music. It also makes a loud buzzing noise about 15 seconds or so after the CD is completed, to the extent that is can wake me up.

I reported this to �鶹�� some time ago, and was told that the item could not be returned. I asked where that was indicated, and it turned out that that warning was only on the app. I ordered from the web site, so had no idea.

The young lady said that the only thing that she could do was send a replacement. I agreed to that, hoping that the defective machine was an exception. I received the second CD player, and it turned out to have the same problems. And in fact, it has another one - at times I have to press play several times to start the CD.

Apparently I have no recourse, but I would NOT recommend buying this CD player- I think it is crap. And I definitely will not be buying electronics from �鶹�� in the future.

Excellent sound quality using Koss portaPro headphones. Good bass, no skipping while walking. Larger LCD window than comparable Jensen CD player, but display numbers were incorrect on my model. FM radio worked well, although LCD does not show station frequency. Use cheap AA disposable batteries, since rechargeables inevitably slowly fail to recharge completely over time and may not be worth the extra $20 or so. Amazing value for the price.

Sound quality is good, bass boost is good.

Buttons don't always work. Sometimes have to push a button two or three times for a function to work. Like "Play".

Wanted to have a player that I could power with an AC Adapter so I wouldn't have to pay too much on batteries. Had an adapter with a plug that would fit and adjustable voltage. After a few months the adapter plug in the player became loose and I'd have to position the player 'just right' in order get the player to play. It's now not working at all.

Cannot recommend.
