Flexzilla SwivelGrip Garden Hose

Heavy Duty, Lightweight, and Drinking Water Safe, 5/8 in.

Flexzilla makes it easier to work around your home and lawn. SwivelGrip action eliminates twists that occur when uncoiling a hose. Conventional garden hose can trap coils that tighten into kinks as you move across the yard. SwivelGrip releases these trapped coils because the hose rotates freely inside the grip. The large, comfortable gripping surface on both ends of the hose makes connections much easier to turn and tighten. SwivelGrip hoses are also drinking water safe.

    I wanted a hose that did NOT smell like cancer was pouring out of it every time you used it. With this hose I don't smell anything when using it. So for that alone I would give it a 5 rating. However, buyers should be aware of an indocyncracy with this hose. It is soft and seems durable but it has this weird curling behavior. When I put it on my hose hanger it curls into a figure 8 with each loop over the hanger. No matter what you do the hose wants to curl into this figure 8 shape. When you pull the hose out across your lawn these loops uncurl by themselves into a straight line. This doesn't affect the use of the hose. Its easy to use, it's just like it has a mind of its own.

    This is a brilliant piece of kit,my last garden hose kinked all the time and I couldn't wait to put it in the bin,the flexilla is 5/8 inch so a better flow rate than the standard 1/2 inch hose,it doesn't kink and lays itself naturally flat when full of water,it feels more rubber than plastic in the hand and is so much better than the old hose,very pleased with this,be aware if your buying this in Ireland/UK for our garden taps the threads are different as this hose is made for USA so has ght threads instead of bsp threads in Ireland and UK,you will need to buy some end pieces for the hose from flexilla that sort this out but they are not expensive,allow an extra €20 for that,I spent €100 in total on 75 foot hose plus end connections and it was worth every penny
