  I wanted a hose that did NOT smell like cancer was pouring out of it every time you used it. With this hose I don't smell anything when using it. So for that alone I would give it a 5 rating. However, buyers should be aware of an indocyncracy with this hose. It is soft and seems durable but it has this weird curling behavior. When I put it on my hose hanger it curls into a figure 8 with each loop over the hanger. No matter what you do the hose wants to curl into this figure 8 shape. When you pull the hose out across your lawn these loops uncurl by themselves into a straight line. This doesn't affect the use of the hose. Its easy to use, it's just like it has a mind of its own.
