This is a great man I had my first one for about 5 years...overtime it does get brittle and after repeated uses and cutting in the same spots it will eventually cut through. Happy with my order however I was sent the left-handed version so I will be returning.

    I have always found Fiskars to have very good quality products ( though awfully pricey). This large mat is no exception. I have had it only a few days but the STRONG (chemical? ) SMELL is terrible. I have just washed it and hope that helps because I cannot put it in my sewing room until then. I had purchased a smaller one by Fiskars a year or so ago and it did not have this issue.
    If it is possible to write a second review, I will… after the smells disappears.

    Look, you can get cheaper mats elsewhere, yes, but this is REALLY worth it! The squares and lines are easy to see being that it's different colors and the numbers are written clearly and all over. Having straight lines and dotted lines helps to quickly distinguish and find what place you want to match up. You can flip the mat over for a different options (dark/light) which is helpful. I own two sizes of this brand and would recommend to others -- it's well worth it.

    I was excited to invest in a good cutting mat. When it arrived, it was delivered without any protective packaging. Just the mat with delivery stickers STUCK TO IT. Which means I have spent the last hour trying to get rid of sticky residue on the mat from the stickers! I understand the mat is huge and packaging of that size is hard to find but there has to be a better way. I can’t even review the product itself cos I’m waiting to see if the residue can come off before I put any fabric on it. Ridiculous!

    I love this mat, fantastic size and the contrasting colours help with different materials. It is really great quality and easy to maintain with a wipe down from a damp cloth. One down side is that the numbers are only in one direction, so you either have to do maths or turn the board every time but this doesn't bother me as I use a ruler to measure.

    I gave this 5 stars because I really love this mat. It is a really good size and because it is white as opposed to the normal dark green the numbers are much easier to see. I can't believe I had to purchase one from the U.S.A. 鶹 was the only place I could find one. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a cutting mat weather it's for quilting or card making etc. I choose this large size for quilting.
