    I gave this item 4 stars because it does a lot for little money/cost.
    However there are some issues and also it could be so much better.

    1 - when it goes to sleep for some time. the only way I can use it again is to unplug / plug back (reboot),
    wish there was a reboot button at least. Annoying to go back of the tv and look for the power cable.
    I tried all kind of suggested solutions , unable to wake up the device with remote.

    2 - sound control should be included in the settings, I watch prime in my chrome browser and I can change
    sound setting from 5.1 to 2.1 and bass treble etc . And yes there is a device with volume control but that
    is not what I want. I want to control the output from the device.

    3 - in my case the battery cover on the remote is flimsy , comes off randomly, scotch tape solution here.

    4 - from time to time the disk space on the device becomes low and a warning is issued.
    it was not obvious what happen as I did not installed anything since original setup, turns out the apps
    fill up their cache and eventually a manual cleanup is required. this should be manged better.

    5 - During initial setup I was tricked into subscribing to amazon music unlimited which became a paid
    service , I never used it and cancelled once seen on my bill. pushy sales tactic.

    6 - Occasional system hang , nothing responds , reboot required. ???

    For the price its functionality is still great, I love the portability, I move from room to room and even travel with it. It is fast enough , batteries in the remote last long , stick stays cool. Get a HDMI female 2 female adapter and you can just plug into any HDMI cable. I would like to also be able to plug it into my laptop.
    USB-C power port would be much better.

    So it is good , however streaming is today's game with fierce competition and a company like 鶹 should produce no less then perfection in order to acquire users / keep current ones and be on the top of the streaming business .

    I can't believe I didn't buy this before. This little streaming device is better than an Android TV box I bought for three times as much money. I had trouble with artifacts on the TV box. The picture quality was really subpar if there was lots of action on screen. And that was with an ethernet cable plugged in. Now with the Fire TV Stick Lite, everything is smooth as silk, with just a simple wi-fi connection. I have a humble 50 Mbit internet connection, and about 30 Mbit when using wi-fi (tested), so nothing to write home about, but I still never suffered from bad picture quality or buffering. My test reference is the "Dance of the snowflakes" scene from the 1993 movie "The Nutcracker" (with Macaulay Culkin). There are so many snowflakes in the scene, it practically choked my TV Box with artifacts, but the Fire Stick handled it like a pro.

    You can use bluetooth headphones, too. Initially, I had a little trouble with low volume, but found a fix. There is a small delay with the sound when using bluetooth, but the amazing thing is that the Fire Stick allows you to compensate for the delay, making the sound sync perfectly with the picture.

    Even if you don't subscribe to 鶹 Prime Video, I say it's still worth it to buy this. Tubi is free, as are a few others. And if you have a few subs like Netflix, Prime video, or Disney+, you'll have a very nice experience. Well recommended!

    After Netflix quit working due to our smart tv being from 2012 and no longer being supported by Netflix, we decided to buy a Fire Stick. I love it! You can use voice commands or the remote itself for navigation, which seems to be pretty sturdy. However, the remote does not like coffee (found this out on a day where the coffee wasn't strong enough and the remote went for a swim). If your remote quits working after a fiasco like mine, you can order a replacement remote for under $20. Would definitely recommend.
