This fairy lantern kit really has everything you need. The kit comes in a colorful and sturdy cardboard box that kept everything well protected during shipping. Everything was very well packaged, either in a small bag or inside the jars. The kit includes everything that is needed to complete two fairy lanterns.
The jars are made of plastic, which in my opinion, is preferable to glass, especially for little kids. There is also two lights that each have a remote. The lights have 12 different colors to choose from, two timers options and different modes. There are four different fairy silhouettes to choose from. The kit includes all the basic, glue, sponge paintbrush, sprinkles and two sided tape. The only thing that you might need and is not included is a pair of scissors to cut the ribbons or string. There's also so many decoration to add to personalise the fairy jar; butterfly, tiny animal, mushroom, flowers, ribbon, magic wands etc. It also includes detailed instructions with pictures. I think this is a great kit to craft with small or older kids. It is a perfect activity for an easy crafting session with everything you need.

I ordered this pair of fairy lanterns as a craft to do with my grandkids. They have their own set at their place, so I decided to get these for when they come over and sleep at our house. The kit comes with two plastic mason jars (not glass, which is great), 2 remote controls, and a battery pack that you put in each lantern. Both battery packs take 2 AAA batteries, not included. Each of the 2 remotes require CR2025 batteries, and these ARE included. The remotes can change the color and also set a timer. It comes with all the accessories needed for decorating the inside. You glue the sides of the jar inside, put in your fairies, add glitter, seal the lid, and then shake. You can add the battery back before or after you shake it. For the outside you have metal handles that can be decorated with string, ribbon, flowers, etc. What I liked is that they give you stickers that you can attach to the flowers and other decorations that make it easy to adhere to the jar. Summary: This is such a fun craft to do. The grandkids now have their own night lights for sleepovers, and they love them! I’m very happy with these and I’m glad that I ordered them.

The moment you open the box, it’s like unwrapping a never-ending surprise. There’s so much packed inside to build and decorate your lanterns. Everything you need is included (even the glue!), except for 2 AAA batteries per lantern, which power the fairy lights that go inside. It’s incredibly thoughtful and well-stocked, making it very easy to get crafting straight away.
The only small disappointment for me was that the jars are made of plastic, as I initially bought the kit for myself — yes, a fully grown adult, because who says the magic of crafting is only for kids? But in hindsight, the plastic jars actually make perfect sense for children: they’re lightweight, safe, and much less likely to break during crafting or play.
The presentation box itself is absolutely beautiful, bright, colourful, and totally charming, making this a gorgeous gift idea. Whether for a birthday, a rainy day project, or simply a bit of whimsical fun, I can see this kit providing hours of creative enjoyment.
Highly recommended for children… and for adults who never grew out of loving fairies and sparkle!

The color-changing lights are beautiful, and the remote control is a great touch. It makes a lovely night light.
My only issue is that some of the materials could be a bit sturdier, and the instructions could be clearer.
Still, it's a magical and enjoyable craft for kids!
