Tips and Recommendations
Recommended speed settings above
- Use the sides of the cutter (Rather than the tip) for effective cutting
- Use higher speeds for hard woods, slower speeds for metals
High Speed Cutters
Carving Soft Materials
Available in many shapes, high speed cutters are used in carving, cutting and slotting in wood, plastics and soft metals such as aluminum, copper, and brass. These are the accessories to use for freehand routing or carving in wood or plastic and for precision cutting. Made with high quality steel. 1/8" shank.

- Plastics
- Soft Metals

Structured Tooth Tungsten Carbide Cutters
Carving Soft Materials
Fast-cutting sharp teeth for greater material removal with minimum loading. Use on fiberglass, wood, plastic, epoxy, rubber, laminates, particle board and ceramic tile. 1/8" shank.
- Fiberglass
- Wood
- Plastic
- Epoxy
- Rubber
- Laminates

- Ceramic Tile

Tips and Recommendations
Recommended speed settings above
- Use higher speeds for hard woods, slower speeds for metals and very slow speeds for plastics (to avoid melting at the point of contact). If chattering occurs, increase speed.
- Do not use this cutter for drilling holes or for enlarging holes that are less than twice the diameter of the cutter. The tungsten carbide surface can easily catch the side of a hole and break the bit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tough cutter!
Verified PurchaseLove these cutting tools. They are really good for cutting out shapes in wood and they last a really long time. I use them to cut out places to inlay turquoise and they do a good job of making nice smooth cuts that aren't very big.

4.0 out of 5 stars but when I attached this to my flex shaft attachment it worked nicely.
Verified PurchaseI used this to smooth out a baseboard shift from one floor to a slightly lower floor. I didn't have room to operate by simply attaching this to my dremel, but when I attached this to my flex shaft attachment it worked nicely.
