Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified clothing and home products are based on standards for the processing of clothing and home materials made with organic fibre. Global Organic Textiles certified products contain a minimum of 70% organic fibres. These fibres are made with no GMOs, no highly hazardous chemicals, and no child labour. Producers must have a strong system to protect the health, safety, and rights of their employees and have strict wastewater treatment practices.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified products require every component of a textiles production including all thread, buttons, and trims to be tested against a list of more than 1,000 regulated and unregulated chemicals which may be harmful to human health. The assessment process is globally standardized, independently conducted, and updated at least once per year based on new scientific information or regulatory requirements.
