This rice cooker is the right size for single people, students living away from home, seniors or you just want to cook for yourself. The rice turns out perfect every time. I use Basmati rice. It’s perfect for oatmeal porridge too. The non-stick bowl is great for easy clean-up. The rice cooker takes up very little space in the cupboard.

    This rice cooker is very very small. The diameter of the pot is the length of my hand (approx 10 cm). Perfect for 1 person, but if you eat rice and curry daily, this might be too small. You would have to make fresh rice every meal. The absolute maximum is 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water. The cooker just managed to cook that amount, but I needed to keep it on warm for a while to get the excess liquid out. Sometimes the rice can be a bit sticky, but using a moderate amount of rice has very good results: no crunchy or browned bits at the bottom. The pale green colour is nice too.

    I love my little rice cooker. My pattern seems to be make rice whilst doing dishes and now I'm keeping rice in the fridge and it's so easy to build a meal on rice. I used to make a ton, then the leftovers would get nasty before I could eat it all. There's no more waste w/my mini rice cooker. I love it. Bought one for my son, too for his RV. He doesn't use it as often as I do, but says he loves having it for when he wants rice. It's an awesome little machine.

    This little rice cooker does the job very well if you want to cook a small amount of rice. Suits two people, depending on the amount of rice they have. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy timer, and a surprising bonus, non-stick.

    We had a monster of a rice cooker once with many features and settings and a large size, which broke down.. And a pressure cooker, which makes the rice soggy. This one has been good so far.

    There are disadvantages, as others have mentioned.. It's really a simple appliance, with a lid that rests on top by itself.. Not a fancy pot with a lid that can be fastened or having many settings and features... It's meant for one purpose and one purpose only.. And the size can get a bit small, if you have big eaters or a large family, and you need to measure the rice carefully.. But overall, works fine for us. No complaints.. Happy with the purchase.

    I love this rice cooker! I just cook for myself, generally making four or five days' worth of food at the start of the week and eating it for lunches throughout the week. This rice cooker makes two cups of cooked rice, which is enough rice for me to add to my curries or tofu dishes all week. I've used it a few times and the rice is always perfectly cooked. It's also super easy to clean and takes up basically no space in my kitchen cupboard.
    Regretting that I put off buying a rice cooker for so long, now that I see how much easier I could have had it over the years :)

    also make sure you take the sticker off from inside the metal bowl because i didn’t and it smelled horribly of chemicals when i turned it on

    otherwise if you’re a student or someone living alone on a budget it’s easy to clean and store and comes w a good recipe book (although i would recommend to just cook rice in it)

    I love this little gadget! I absolutely hate making rice in a pan and this does the job for me. Just turn it on and leave it. It’s small, but makes enough rice for two people to have as a side - so it’s perfect for singles/couples.

    My first cooker broke after about a month of use (maybe used 3x a week). 鶹 sent a replacement pretty quickly and it does have a years warranty - but you get what you pay for and I have no doubt there are more sturdy and longer lasting brands out there. For now it works perfectly.
