I don’t leave reviews normally but I am genuinely shocked at how well this worked. It was super easy to use, I have no prior experience doing anything like this and I’ve hardly even cleaned shoes before much less repaired them. All the great reviews before me are very well deserved. If you don’t want to read all the steps I did, the before pictures are numbered 1 and 2 in the top right corner, and the finished boots after using this kit and conditioning the leather is picture 4. These got to be so damaged because my husband wore them to work (concrete) for quite a few months, picture 1 and 2 are after I had thoroughly cleaned them already, and picture 2 has the first layer of repair compound on the toe when I figured I should probably take a side-view before picture as well. So to start, I added thin layers of the repair compound with the little spatula and used it to smooth out the compound as best as I could, let it dry completely before adding the next layer, then from layer 3 onwards I started sanding the layers smooth with 240 grit sandpaper (just the finest grit I had laying around, don’t push too hard when sanding), and then wiping all the dust off with rubbing alcohol and letting that dry before applying the next layer. After adding probably 10 or 12 layers, picture 3 is the final product of sanding and it felt perfectly smooth but the leather was super dried out. Picture 4 was after a very very thorough process of applying leather conditioner over and over, and this is already an incredible improvement from where I started and would have been still a phenomenal end result. I may have stopped here but I just wanted some extra protection (it’s spring in Canada, somehow snowy and muddy). I then got some shoe polish, and pictures 5-8 are just different views of the final result after polishing. I don’t have a single negative thing to say about this repair kit, it dries quickly and doesn’t have a strong smell at all, it’s easy to work with, I really can’t think of a single way that it could have been better. Even though I used other products to get my boots to the final result, they wouldn’t have made even half the difference without the repair compound. Though you can still very slightly see the spots that I filled, that’s fine by me and I’m very happy with the results. These are wearable again, and I’m so happy that I didn’t have to spend $250 to get new ones when the ones I had were still structurally good.

    This product works quite well and I found that mixing the colors to get just the right shade was actually fairly easy. The issue I have with this product is that you get 10 different color tubes, out of which you end up needing 2, max 3, in order to get the shade you need. I had a whole couch set that I wanted to fix up so the amount of burgundy color that I needed wasn't enough in the kit. However, I was not able to buy just that additional color. I had to buy entire extra sets with 10 colors per set (9 of which I didn't need or want) just to get just to get extra tubes of burgundy. It's both a waste of money and frankly, a waste of product. In the end I had to buy 4 sets, to have enough burgundy for my needs. So, now I have 36 additional tubes of colors I have no use for and which are going in the garbage. I went on the company site, and they don't sell just additional color tubes there either. So, good pruduct, but honestly, not being able to get more of just the colors you need is stupid.

    This product is awesome and simple to use. The mixing takes a minute to get if you don't have an eye for that stuff but there is excellent customer support available for the product if you run into trouble. Although the tubes included in the box are small, it goes a long way. I wish there were more of brown or black tubes instead of bright blue (most leather or vinyl couches are variations of brown/grey/black) but I would totally buy this product again because it is so good at doing the job. If filling a larger hole, remember to follow the drying time (if not more) I made the mistake of using my couch when it wasn't fully dry and it left an imprint which I then needed to then re-do to make it smooth again...but it doesn't show!! I can't believe I didn't try this before because it would have extended the life of my couches in the past due to pet scratches & general wear saving me a lot of money in replacing them. Great product, simple to use and definitely don't hesitate to buy and try it out, you will not regret it. Hope this helps!

    This stuff is super easy to mix and use! I had no problem mixing to match. Goes on super smoothly (use the palette knife) and dries quickly! East to fix oopses with a disenfectant wipe. Easy cleanup too! Worked great!

    Bought this product to repair the heels of a favourite pair of shoes. The shoes are a sort of ‘off’ cream colour. The cream colour supplied wasn’t an exact match, so a bit of experimentation was required mixing the colours to get a good match. Worked like a dream! Now I’m going through the rest of my shoes repairing scuffed heels! Great product, very easy to use. Would recommend for shoe heel repairs.

    Ich hatte Sorge, dass die Farbe zu schwer zusammen zu mischen sei oder das Ergebnis spröde wäre, aber ich wurde positiv überrascht. Die Farbe dunkelt beim trocknen nach und die bearbeiteten Flächen kann man beim genauen hinsehen erkennen, aber die Farbdifferenz habe ich zusammengemischt.
    Die Farbe trocknet recht schnell und auch Löcher lassen sich gut flicken.
