One of the best fish batters ever!
First time buyer, long time fish lover! Now, I have so much to say about this product. For starters I love my English style fish and chips and this totally lived up to it. Now, being my first time I’m sure I messed up somewhere and should have dry coated it with flour first (it doesn’t recommend however I would suggest it). I cooked it the first time and found half the batter didn’t stick; it stuck to the pan (again I could have added more oil so again may be my fault), so I let it cool and dipped it again and cooked it again. This actually worked and it stayed crispy even after refrigerating. I might suggest not using as much water as they recommended but for the price, I don’t mind playing trial and error. It was so good that I have since ordered more for myself, and have ordered 2 of these even for my mother and father. I highly highly love and recommend this product especially for fish lovers! (Please note in my photo is the English style fish batter; it’s in front with the pepper look, and the fish fry fish batter.. we bought both). The fish fry one was ok too, but I would suggest adding some of your own favourite spices to the mix as I found it slightly bland. But excellent for coating!!! I will be buying it again as well.
