Update: Decided to update my review & add a few pictures. I have used this press everyday since I got it. I am still very impressed with it. Heats up quickly with clear light indictors hot and cool, so easy to use and clean up . I can fit 2 smaller wraps on it at the same time. This performs better then my old Wolfgang Puck one did. Very glad I purchased this. * I wasn’t sure about this with the negative reviews about how small it was, but decided to take a chance as I’m the only one using it. It just fits my wrap to warm it up fully open then once the wrap is made and it put it back in and close the lid it’s amazing how quickly it works. It has a on and off light indicator unlike my last one. Is so easy to clean and has a little drop tray with it, I find the handle doesn’t heat up to like my old one did. If you are looking for one to do 2-4 large wraps or sandwiches at the same time it’s to small for that, but for one or two small wraps it’s great. Doesn’t take up much counter space which is a bonus. Overall I’m very impressed with it.

    3 stars because I don’t think there is anything wrong with the item but it is VERY small and I feel the listing is somewhat misleading. There’s no way to make two sandwiches in this thing and it would probably only work for a single person. I bought this with my family in mind and I would have to cook each steak, chicken breast, sandwich, etc individually and it would take forever. The lid opens flat for grilling but for making sandwiches the lid is hinged normally and it does squish one side of the bread down nearly flat while the other side is fine.
    Overall, it wasn’t worth it to me and I returned it.

    Pros: great for a single person with limited space
    Cons: too small for a family or a proper, not squished, panini.

    I purchased this panini press because of the advertised features, but unfortunately, it has several major flaws:
    1. Misleading Adjustability: The marketing and images suggest that the top plate is adjustable and can remain parallel to the bottom plate. In reality, the plates form a “V” shape when closing, which pushes the sandwich forward instead of pressing it evenly.
    2. Uneven Heat: The top plate does not heat as effectively as the bottom, leading to uneven cooking results. This defeats the purpose of having a panini press that cooks evenly on both sides.
    3. Safety Concerns: Because the top plate cannot stay level, I’ve had to manually adjust the sandwich during cooking to get a proper press, which feels unsafe when dealing with a hot appliance.

    While it does work if you’re willing to put in extra effort, it doesn’t live up to the advertised claims or the expectations set by the product images. I wouldn’t recommend this model if you’re looking for true adjustability and even pressing.
