This is a great oven style air fryer.
I have had several basket type over the years and wanted to try an oven style. I am not disappointed. I have read reviews that claimed it didn't heat evenly or the food didn't cook on all trays. Please read your manual!!! It explains you need to rotate trays etc. If you do this it cooks evenly and on all trays... so frustrating to read reviews from people giving 1 star because of a problem that would be fixed if you read the dang manual. The wire racks are not hard to clean either! Much quicker than cleaning the basket type. The flip signal does beep... just make sure you have the sound on! 🙄. Yes there is a button to turn the beeps on and off. This is a great airfryer! Read your manual and follow instructions and you won't be disappointed.

I bought this and used it exactly 3x before it stopped working mid use and then wouldn’t turn on at all. It worked fine for the 3 uses and I used the air fryer option. I was 4 days short of return so I did return it. I’m not getting the same model again. This model seems more like a toaster oven rather than an air fryer. I think I’ll go with a ninja next time. It’s seemed like a fuse blew but there is no way for a normal consumer to reset or enter the machine. A little disappointed with my first air fryer experience.

This Air Fryer stands above rest by breaking free from typical basket approach.
The door opens up similar to a toaster oven and exposes an oven with the capability of holding 3 trays. I typically only use one tray at a time but have used 2 for air frying. I could see using 3 trays for dehydrating, which has a max cook time of 24Hrs @ any temperature above 105°F.
This is NOT a taster oven, it's an air fryer and works much better than a basket style. It also includes a rotating rotisserie spit which can be used roast a chicken or head of cauliflower and anything else that can be put into a spit.
The door is removable for easy cleaning. There is also a bottom drip tray to catch drippings, spices etc..
There is a 2 minute option to air fry at 450° to crisp things up. And you easily press another button to extend your current air fry session by 2 minutes without changing temps. The door has a glass front so you can see how things are cooking at all times by pressing the light button. It has a much larger capacity than most air fryers, and the displays and options all go to sleep when not un use, so no annoying flashing lights or need to keep unplugging when not needed.
I fully recommend this product. Great price and a fantastic air fryer.

I just received this Chefman 6 in 1 Air-fryer earlier today. I've cooked a ton of bacon in it earlier and am now dehydrating banana slices and grapes. It's a bit early to have a definitive opinion, but I did want to share some first impressions.

THE GOOD:
- In other reviews I noted some who observed that the temperature up/down button increments in 10 degree steps. I assume their device was a generation older than mine as mine increments in 5 degrees steps. Nice!
- I also noted in other reviews comments that the wire cooking racks are flimsy and that the wire mesh was so sharp it could cut your hand. After cooking bacon, the wire cooking racks had quite a bit of cooked on food product. Briefly soaking the racks in warm soapy water and using a stiff dish washing brush cleaned these up like new.
- One or more reviewers mentioned that in spite of the drip pan, drips got past it and to the bottom of the device. I just simultaneously cooked three racks of bacon and not a drip of grease got past the drip tray.
- Temp only goes to 400, but there's an option to kick it up to 450 to crisp at the end of your cooking. Nice!
- Oven light is nice.

THE NOT AS GOOD
- The flip light used to tell you to flip fries and such just illuminates, no sound. This needs to be an audible sound.
- Venting to back instead of sides. The manual states the air fryer only needs to be 2" away from the wall. I found that at 400 degrees and cooking for 15 minutes that the unit shut down on its own several times. I had to pull the air fryer away from the wall 6" to keep it from shutting down. I assume the auto shut down was because of an overheat condition, but there was no message that indicated this.

If my opinion changes, I'll update, but I'd definitely rate this a great buy!

I purchased this air fryer a couple of weeks ago. I previously had another brand but it was an oven /toaster and did not have the air fry function. Boy, I was impressed with the first use of this fryer! It came up to temperature quickly and cooked the food evenly in the bake function. I tried some frozen hot wings and they turned out perfectly.

I put this fryer to the ultimate test by cooking Thanksgiving dinner with it! I used it for all of my baking needs to save energy from using my oven. I did use the flat top on the stove to make mashed potatoes and boil the noodles for the macaroni but that was it. I cooked the macaroni, stuffing, cornbread, and muffin squares all in the air fryer using the bake function.

The only thing you have to plan for is the size of the cookware as the air fryer space is limited. I had the glass and metal cookware so it was not a problem for me. I used a metal baking pan that measures 9 ½ inches wide by 8 ½ inches long. The glass dish was 6 ½ by 7 ½ with a depth of 2 ¼ inches for both pans.

The digital controls were very easy to understand and set without having to study the manual. While operating the fryer is noticeably quieter than my previous units. I am going to break this down to PROS and CONS.

PROS:

Boy, I was impressed with the first use of this fryer! It came up to temperature quickly and cooked the food evenly in the bake function. I tried some frozen hot wings and they turned out perfectly.

I put this fryer to the ultimate test by cooking Thanksgiving dinner with it! I used it for all of my baking needs to save energy from using my oven. I did use the flat top on the stove to make mashed potatoes and boil the noodles for the macaroni but that was it. I cooked the macaroni, stuffing, cornbread, and muffin squares all in the air fryer using the bake function.

The only thing you have to plan for is the size of the cookware as the air fryer space is limited. I had the glass and metal cookware so it was not a problem for me. I used a metal baking pan that measures 9 ½ inches wide by 8 ½ inches long. The glass dish was 6 ½ by 7 ½ with a depth of 2 ¼ inches for both pans.

The digital controls were very easy to understand and set without having to study the manual. While operating the fryer is noticeably quieter than my previous units. I am going to break this down to PROS and CONS.

CONS:

Oven Size: Interior width prevents use of standard cookware.

Overall, I would purchase this product again due to the ease of operation and energy savings from not using my oven. I highly recommend this air fryer for any family looking for easier ways to prepare meals!

We love it! Cooks everything perfect & it isn't all dried out like the microwave. We've cooked french fries, chicken, steak, burgers,fish, pizza... you can cook anything & everything. I choose this one because it was bigger than most of the others. You can't even hear it when it's running, you can even turn the sound off so there's no bells that ding if your trying to be sneaky in the middle of the night.
