For their lower end model, this packs a punch. I have literally had it fully loaded up, and scanning for hours straight, for weeks on end, and it's never failed me yet. For any business that scans a lot of documents or images, this will be more than enough to do the job. Fully recommend!

It might work if you buy the optional power supply but it wasn't happy with a 4 amp usb-c power source (that runs my pi 4 just fine). Setup is clumsy requiring multiple software downloads. I couldn't see where you could specify a shared drive as a destination. Not worth the trouble. Going back.

I decided to give this ADS-1350W compact desktop scanner from brand BROTHER a try to help me navigate this task.

This particular option features no touchscreens or any other bells and whistles, but what it does offer is a fast and responsive setup with easy to navigate buttons, and of course a wireless setup for fast connectivity directly to my Mac for easy transfer of scans, so it is very convenient.

BROTHER also offers cloud services, and while I personally have my own methods of backup, this is still a solid option for many people looking for easy, dependable storage. As it stands, this is a very functional, modern alternative to my old flatbed scanner on my crappy printer, and it produces a valuable service for me in my business, and I could not be happier with it. 5 stars.

The Brother ADS-1350W Wireless Compact Desktop Scanner is a straight forward, portable wireless scanner that functions fairly well depending on the resolution you want.

Installation is not complicated and you can access the settings once you install the software to make it more customized if you are using with a PC and not as a standalone scanner. It does not come with a power adaptor but this wasn't an issue for me.

It's not the fastest scanner but it does scan well with good quality. I use it for lower resolution scanning at my desk and have good results.

been using this to scan older paper documents for my small business to scan onto more secure computer files & folders and be better organized! this has helped a lot and kept everything where it should be- on my computer!! no issues with paper being jammed or not connecting to my desktop! have gone almost 5 hours scanned all my documents and this printer hasn't missed a beat!! definitely something that works well with heavier usage!! its a bit pricey, but the brother brand is basically what your paying for here. if this is an item that needs to be used frequently, then this would be a good investment for sure!!

This is such a great scanner. I’ve never experienced one that works as well as this made for home use.

I’ll start by saying it’s surprisingly compact and especially when the lid is down it’s just a lovely sleek white box. When opened, You can put a stack of up to 20 sheets of paper.

The first thing about the way this operates as it is FAST!!! I made a video of how fast it runs a standard sheet of paper. I’ll bring that fast. It also scans both sides at once, and the app shows your display of both sides and asks where you want to save it. That is just remarkable to me.

I thought the quality of the scans was excellent, I tried all different types of documents and it scans with precision and does a beautiful job capturing color. It does not seem to take thicker cardboard-like paper.

Installation is quite easy but you have to give yourself 5 to 15 minutes. I started by following the instruction booklet and going to the brother website to get the installation wizard going. I plugged the scanner into my Windows computer using the USB. I downloaded the drivers and follow the wizard, and the wizard even connects the scanner to Wi-Fi without me having to key in the password. It was very easy. I just follow the prompts.

The performance of this scanner is truly outstanding. The quality and the speed make it unlike any other homebase scanner I’ve ever tried. Since I scan a ton of stuff, especially at fiscal year end, this is going to save me loads of time. So happy with the scanner.

I've been using scanner for over 30 years now, and I love this little unit. Recently, my father had to close his office and they've been scanning client files on a Multi Function Printer (MFP) that has been jamming and taking forever to do multiple pages. This scanner is amazing: it runs 20 double-sided pages in no time, and we've yet to encounter a jam. Very happy with the scan quality and speed, and that basically is all we need to ask of it.

I have tried and learned over three days of attempting to get it to connect.
