Please check whether the mount is suitable for your TV:
Please check your wall for wood studs, it can’t be used on concrete wall or drywall alone.
Please check the weight of your TV. It must be less than 132 lbs/ 60kg.
Look at the back of your TV, find the mounting holes and measure the horizontal and vertical distance, if the horizontal distance is within 24", vertical distance is within 16", then the bracket will work perfectly for you.
The width of your TV should be 26" or above. Otherwise the mount is too wide to hide behind your TV.

One good bracket and two things to know

This bracket was super easy to install and seems pretty solid when mounted into wall studs.
I used screws and washers to mount the bracket but at this point, the "two things to know" falls into play.
1) The little level that is included, use it at your own peril. It is close but you need to check it against a real level, or just use a real level.
2) when you connect the brackets together, you may need to loosen all the screws and then find a way to perfectly line up the holed rails which you use to mount the bracket to the wall.
3) Do not level from the ends of the frame, they were uneven on mine so I used a small level and specifically used the rails for levelling, not anything else.
4) If you are using screws and washers, use the smallest washer you can or a screw with a really wide head.

NONE of these are meant to be negative. This bracket is great and really easy to hang the tv on. I hung a 75" by myself, but a little help is always way better.

I almost forgot the tilt. I used a little block of wood to make sure the tilt brackets were the same angle. I am pretty sure some real handyman has a better method, but I am just a hack. Aside from that, just make sure you tighten all the screws.

Again, I am super happy with this bracket mount and glad I purchased it. Just remember it will not hang itself!

Really hard to Level This Mount

The mounting plate comes in 2 pieces, that are joined with 8 screws, 4 top and 4 bottom. The problem is that this joining does not assure that the plate is square. We used a 48" level and the tiny one that comes with the mount. No matter how we tried to straighten the mounting plate, one half was always lower/higher than the other. The center of the mount has a hump where the plates join. We could not get the joined plates to line up to 180° and therefore one half of the mount was off level, which added a tilt to the TV. Very frustrating. Look for a mount that does not have a hump where the plates are joined. I have to say that Perlesmith's customer service has been excellent with this concern I raised. They contacted me very shortly after the comment and offered to return the mount for a refund. Thanks Perlesmith.
