4 SIMPLE STEPS

1. Turn off the gas supply.

2. Screw the QCC1/Type1 Connector into the tank valve.

3. Tighten the F273699 Fuel Filter to the Mr Heater Buddy/ Big Buddy Propane Heater.

4. Turn on the gas supply and check for gas leakage, tighten again until normal.

What does this product do?

It filters impurities from propane gas before it reaches your heater and provides a hose + adapter so you can connect your heater to a standard bulk propane tank (20–45 lb) instead of small disposable cylinders.
Which heaters is this compatible with?

It’s designed for use with the Buddy series (Portable Buddy, Big Buddy, etc.) and similar portable propane heaters.
Where in the line does the filter go?

The filter should be placed between the propane tank (via hose) and your heater, not inside the heater or upstream of the hose.
When should the filter be replaced?

Replace when you notice flow restrictions, discoloration, or signs of clogging. Inspect periodically, especially after heavy use.
Can I use this for large industrial propane systems?
