This product works well. The blade is so sharp and precise. The slant is perfect and the non- slip grips on the legs hold it in place. The platform for shredding is wide and holds a good size wedge of cabbage. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

    This mandolin is simple to use, easy to set up and works really nicely. The only issue I have with it is that (as some other reviewers have also mentioned) it tends to scrape off bits of the guard as you use it. Otherwise a really nice unit.

    Extremely sharp and not for the clumsy group, like me. Good adjustment limits. When cutting cabbage, I suggest using wedges smaller than 1/4, perhaps 1/8 to be safe. This will cut easier and thereby be safer! Cleans up well since it's entirely plastic and stainless steel.

    Depending on vegetable being sliced it does not slice smoothly, vegetables have to be semi hard not soft nor too hard which can make it dangerous to use. Another con is the knob control it can get stuck and you have to play with the blades to get it unstuck which again is dangerous to cut fingers.
    I am very disappointed with this product and would not recommend.
