What a cute birdhouse that you can completely customize with the kids. Easy to put together and add color and personality to it. Durable well made and easy to set up. Highly recommend is a summer or spring craft and you can also talk about educational topics like birds.

This birdhouse craft is so much fun!

The birdhouse is not made out of wood so you do not need to worry about splinters! The downside to this is that the plastic material that the birdhouse is made from does not allow to paint provided to spread evenly. I used acrylic paint markers and they worked a lot better!

I recommend painting the birdhouse and then assembling so you can reach all of the places you want to paint easier!

The birdhouse stays together with screws. The screwdriver that is provided is very tiny and awkward to hold but it does work.

I recently tried out this DIY Birdhouse Kit with my kids and it was a hit!

The kit came with paints, brushes, and everything needed to build and decorate the birdhouse.

The materials are nice quality, and it was easy enough to assemble, making it suitable for kids of various ages.

My kids loved painting and building their birdhouse, so I believe these kits are an excellent choice for a fun, educational, and creative activity that the whole family can enjoy together.

This birdhouse fits together easily and is great for young kids. This is a decorative piece that should be kept out of the elements if placed outside, as it is made from foam board and not wood. The pieces fit together perfectly, and the paint kit with bright colors will get kids away from their screens, at least for an afternoon. It reminds me of a gingerbread house which would look so nice with mini lights.
As an actual birdhouse, this kit is not ideal. There isn't an easy way to open the birdhouse to clean out each year for the next season. as well, the opening is too big to keep out predators. I would suggest that if this kits interests your kids in birds, the next step would be to buy a real birdhouse and keep this birdhouse indoors on a shelf.

I got this kit to do with my son, and we had such a great time building and painting the birdhouse together! The pieces were easy to assemble, and the included paints and brushes made it even more fun. It’s a perfect activity for family bonding, and it gave us a chance to be creative while learning something new. The finished birdhouse looks adorable in our yard. Highly recommend for a fun and meaningful project with kids!

I am actually impressed with this kit. I bought it with a group build in mind for this Summer on days where the weather is just not outdoor quality. But having looked at all of this kit’s aspects and details, this really does look to be easy enough to allow most supervised children to build this birdhouse kit. This comes with everything required, though I find the screwdriver on the small side so can well imagine this will be difficult for a child to operate. Will probably switch out for a regular sized screwdriver for more ease of construction. With all of the house’s pieces being nicely finished this speaks to the kit being child friendly. I’m not certain that the paints provided will do a good job when it comes time for the decorating portion of the craft due to the finished nature of the birdhouse pieces. But I am certain our craft supplies will have something that can be used.
A fun kit that should be enjoyed by all.

Oh my gosh! I couldn’t get over this wonderful birdhouse kit that needs putting together, painting and decorating.

The box that the kit has been packed in holds everything you need. The walls of the houses feel like it might be MDF or wood. Also included a screwdriver,
two packages of screws, a bit of rope to hang the bird house, 12 little pots of paint and an artist palette to mix your own colours.

There’s no right or wrong on how you choose to decorate. There’s some ideas on an included reference sheet.

My grandkids decided how it was going to look and work together with each other.

Very impressed with the make of this kit. And I agree, stem learning is a lot of fun . Excellent value.
