I have tried many flavors of Bio Steel in the past and I could not pass on the opportunity to try this orange cream sycle one. Just like every other flavor they offer, it is sugar free and sweetened by stevia leaves, which gives it's distinctively flavor to whatever it touches, so keep that in mind if you don't like that. It does taste like orange vanilla flavor ice cream, but it does not exactly tastes like the original product it's trying to simulate, but it's hard to achieve without artificial flavoring. Overall, I would recommend it for the price since you pay for less because your get them in bulk. If it's your first time trying it one of their sports drinks, I would recommend trying other flavors they offer before making up your mind. My personal favorite is the mixed berries.

This was my first introduction to the BIOSTEEL series of hydrating sports drinks. To be honest, not every flavour is going to be for everybody. I grew up absolutely loving orange creamsicle ice pops and soda, but the version of this "orangy" taste here in this drink offering was not quite as good as I had hoped. I am just not sure they really nailed it, and could have done better with it.

I have no other experience yet with BIOSTEEL drinks, but I am not worried this will turn me away from ordering more... on the contrary, I may consider it again in the future, purely because of two reasons; 1. it is an official drink of the NHL which is cool, and 2. because of the way the drink made me feel afterwards, which was positive.
After consuming one immediately after a workout; specifically when i was feeling very dehydrated, this drink did the trick, and I feel like it encouraging my body into a place of hydration and electrolyte balance. I just felt better, without having to pour water over powder and shake my own version of this. I was able to just open and go. The convenience of that cannot be understated.
Overall, no I did not like the taste of this particular flavour as much as I had hoped I would. But I think user experience will vary, it’s all about personal taste buds. That said, the drink functions as advertised and works very well for its purpose. 4 stars.
