I want to start by saying I like this product. I've gotten rid of my ugly back pocket, leather flap wallet. My back thanks me.

It's very convenient to slide cards in and out to quickly pay for things.

My main concern is that it seems like the wallet may damage modern debit and credit cards over time. Each time you slide cards in and out of the stack the chip, exposed on most cards, slides over the adjacent cards and/or the top/bottom of the card holder. I've noticed that my chip cards aren't working as nicely as they once were with lots of more "chip not recognized" messages. Tap often works fine--when I'm required to insert my cards is when I get issues.

Maybe the solution is to have a less important card (bus pass? library card?) above and below your chip cards in the stack. It does reduce convenience by making it more time consuming to remove your payment cards. If this continues happening (after I request new cards) I may have to switch to a different type of card holder.

I hope this information helps you make an informed buying decision.
