Wow! What an impressive little piece of baby gear!

I am so pleased with this baby bath thermometer. It is so simple to use; nothing to do except pop it into the bathwater and it turns on automatically, then monitors and displays the temperature on an easy-to-read LED screen. As the temperature changes, it gives visible colour coded cues (red: too hot; blue: too cold; green: jussssst right -- reminds me of the story of the Three Bears :) It also gives a visible flashing light warning if the water temperature goes out of the "just right" range.

Plus, it's an otter! An squeal inducing cute as a button otter! What's not to love?

Absolutely deserves all 5 stars and I will be buying these for every single baby shower that I go to in the future. It's such a fantastic piece of gear and one that provides confidence and security to the new parent, especially a first time parent, as they will not have to worry about getting the temperature wrong. One less thing to worry about = a superb piece of equipment. And it's the perfect size, too: small enough to be easy to use in any bath whether it's a portable bath, a sink, or a bathtub, but not so small that it's difficult to read the display monitor. It's weight is perfect as well: not so lightweight as to be flimsy or insubstantial and not so heavy as to be difficult to use. It looks, feels, and works like something that you would expect to cost a lot more.

I totally love this thermometer and will be recommending it to everyone I know who provides care for babies (or others) as it's a fantastic peace of mind item.

I tested this bath thermometer with a couple of different thermometers that I have, both normally used for cooking. This floating thermometer is surprisingly accurate. Being used for a baby, there are no sharp edges or corners and I feel comfortable leaving it in the tub with my little in there.

There is no beep if the temperature is too high, which for me, would be a great addition to this thermometer. The screen does change colour, but I think a warning beep would be much better.

The material feels tough enough for a toy, but I don't let my little one chew on this because there are electronics involved.

I like that it turns off automatically, and I found that it dried quite quickly.

I normally place this otter thermometer when I start to run the water for a bath. It automatically turns on when it detects water and starts measuring the water temperature. The otter itself is made of a similar material like a rubber ducky so it floats on top of the water.

The display shows the temperature and can be swapped between Celsius and Fahrenheit. As someone who finds beeping sounds of other thermometers really annoying the silent solution with the light is brilliant. This otter is silent and it has a light which flashes red when the water temperature is above the "too hot" threshold (40 degrees celsius by default) or blue when the water is "too cold" (below 30 degrees celsius I believe).

It is well made and waterproof of course, and makes getting the bath water temperature just right so much less of a hassle. I would highly recommend this cute thermometer.

I got this adorable otter bath thermometer to use when I babysit my niece, and it’s honestly been a game-changer. I always worry about getting the bath water just right, but this makes it so easy — it gives quick, accurate readings and even lights up blue if it’s too cold or red if it’s too hot. No more guessing!

I love that it turns on automatically when it hits the water and shuts off by itself after a while — no buttons to mess with while I’m making sure my niece doesn’t splash water everywhere. lol

It’s also really safe — BPA-free and no sharp edges — plus the otter design is so cute. She thinks it’s a toy and tries to catch it while she’s in the tub, which keeps her entertained while I keep an eye on the temperature.

Such a simple little gadget but so worth it for peace of mind. If you babysit or have little ones, I can’t recommend it enough!

Looking inside the device takes a L1154F battery, but the back of the otter states it takes 2xLR44 batteries, maybe they are the same. The led flashes blue when the water is too cold and flashes red when too hot, and was tested to confirm. The instruction manual explains how to set the minimum and maximum for temperature ranges, so you can adjust them to your baby’s preferences. The otter is very cute and floats on the water.

This is a cute little bath thermometer shaped like an otter. It automatically turns on and off, and displays temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. I was hoping for an audible alarm if the temperature fluctuated too much, but it only uses a light indicator ...still useful, just not quite what I expected.

The thermometer is made from a rigid plastic, similar to what some baby chew toys are made of. The product description mentions it can be used as a toy, but since it contains electronics, a display panel, and batteries, I wouldn’t feel comfortable letting my baby chew on it.

Despite that, the JARMAPOZ Baby Bath Thermometer works well and does exactly what it's supposed to. I would 100% recommend it for monitoring bath temperature!
