Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2

To access to Apple Home, please ensure that Apple Home hub and Aqara P2 are in the same LAN.

It doesn't support Aqara Home app, 2-1 Matter Controller or Thread Border Router. But it will support Aqara Home app and add more features in the future through the Matter-compatible Aqara border router.

What is required?

Matter Controller or Thread Border Router Support:

To add the P2 to a particular Matter-enabled app, your device or devices will need to have both functionalities, therefore a 2-in-1 Matter Controller & Thread Border Router is needed as a minimum requirement.

Aqara Door and Window sensor P2

Note: The sensor has to be within 393 inch of the hub.

Before using, please install the product according to Installation of the Alignment Line. (* For more detailed installation instructions, please view the user manual and installation video.)

Save the energy when the door or window is open

IF Door and Window Sensor P2 is opened

THEN Turn off the thermostat to reduce energy consumption and your carbon footprint

Aqara Door and Window sensor P2

No more lights suddenly turning off

IF Door and Window Sensor P2 is opened (i.e. the toilet cover was opened, which indicates that the toilet is used)

THEN Deactivate the automation "Turn off the light if no motion was detected for 2 minutes"
